Just think about it, any team would be happy to get him on board simply because of his immense popularity. Well Grubby went to NASL as "team Grubby" so I'm pretty sure he's been out of EG since months. EG didn't drop him, Grubby got sponsored on his own and left EG.

He must be getting paid well. IMO EG has inferior players skill-wise. There's a Huk, Idra, Puma tier and then there are guys who are well-known in the community but never really get far or win any major tournaments.

Huk has made the decision that best suits his career, and future. Its like most of you forget this is his income, his lively hood...
EG are just doing there job by trying to acquire better players for their roster...
I wish Huk the best of luck with EG.
And I can't wait to see Idra back in Korea, so awesome.
His financial stability, yes. His career, we're going to find out. Personally I don't think he'll reach the top of the GSL on his new team, a feat more likely to obtain with his former one. His development will be stunted for who knows how long until EG fields a more developed roster plus finds a coach as well.

If EG is going to korea, they should try to get Sase (Free on market right? And wanted to stay in korea), Naniwa (Want to stay in korea) and Thorzain (Just becouse he is so awesome, and i hope he stays in korea). So they could really get a good roster.

As an EG fan that would be fantastic. But other than Sase, the other two are unrealistic. Theyre already on great teams and it would probably take a ton of money to acquire them given their accomplishments. If the money were right I'm sure they'd at the very least consider it but theyre probably happy with their current situation. Thorzain also doesnt see himself staying in Korea for too much longer (think he mentions 2 months in his interview.)

What I wonder is who will join EG in Korea, because it would be kind of sad if they had a team house in Korea yet still won't be able to participate in the NASL because of missing members. Also you need a certain amount of members to create a better practise enviroment, with only two permanent members (Idra will only stay for one or two months) they will again rely on the ladder to practise...

I think it might be a possibility that if Naniwa wants to stay in Korea maybe Dignitas can work out a deal to let him stay in the EG house with the team. It would probably be better for him than staying in the GOM house. I doubt that EG would be able to acquire him from Dignitas.

Especially since they just blew alot of money on Huk. Hope the swedes get some more support, just because they're awesome.

Nice, insulting the oGs house, classy.

So he loses the ability to train with people like MC in the oGs house? Yeah idra and puma might be good but I'm not convinced this is good for HuK, it's pretty obvious from his improvement in the past 6 months, the oGs house had a huge impact on his quality.

I think he will still be able to train with them as they are great friends =) Just that they wont sit next to each other. But EG should go after SaSe!

Why do people care what letters appear before a players name? A starcraft player swopping teams is like a tennis player swopping coach... who cares?

Because this it is teamliquid, our most beloved website. Our homepage, spending countless hours lurking, posting, reading, trolling. Players on TL are better and popular just because. We are teamliquid and that is our team.
