I wonder, which will be the next TL player to step up as the world's best foreigner? Traditionally, the title has belonged to one of their players, and I hope this is no reason for that to change.

Damn, Idra. How are you going to be able to practice with him? After all, HuK is terrible.

On a serious note, I certainly hope that those three guys will practice as hard as they can.

I mean, a Zerg, a Protoss, and a Terran. All on a respectable skill level, even for Korean standards. I think they will show us a new level of "foreign" play. Although the only thing "foreign" about them will be their skin color.
All in all, I am happy for EG and the players.

I hope EG gets some more players over there. A total of 6-10 would sound ideal, 2 of each race and some developmental players would be great.

I think i was the first to Assume (Guess) on the announcement thread Puma, Huk, (EG members) Were forming a Gaming house in Korea etc. Under EG banner

I dont think Idra should be given a Code A spot like that. Either he should earn one at the next MLG or have to go through the qualifiers like everyone else.

I'm not sure. Idra was decent when Rainbow was finishing top 4 every GSL and Fruitdealer was considered good.

It's possible just a lot better players have risen up the ranks since then. Idra might not be Code S caliber now.

I'm curious where Huk is going to live between now and the time that EG gets their Korean house set up. He's obviously going to have to stay in Korea at least for the near future because of Code S...I guess just living on his own in some small apartment in Korea with no practice partners?

Sheth didnt earn his code A spot either yet id say that his was quite deserving and I had no problem with it. In fact its a brilliant move on GOMs part. IdrA has also earned code A spots in the past 2 mlgs so he may do so again.

If I were in control of EG finances I would do the following> EG needs to have two teams: pro-gamers and community outreach.

Keep Idra, Puma, Huk and DeMuslim as pro-gamers.

Trim the fat. Release Machine, LZ, Axlav and StrifeCo to make space for the pro-gamer team. Poach Naniwa for pro-gamer team and any other high profile Korean that wants money. Or if they want, trade the space that Machine, LZ, Axlav and StrifeCo take for some of those "up and coming" Koreans like team NS.HoSeo.

Keep Incontrol and together with Anna they can be house managers and spokespersons.

EG will now take over the world.

It's really hard for me to see Huk join EG because I hate EG so much. Especially since the only reason is money. I get told everywhere that money is the most important thing and that depresses me a lot. Soon I have to make a similar decision when I'm done with my studies and have to decide whether to work in a large company with lots of moniez or a small one where I can live a passion. To me the decision seems easy, but I try to understand Huk's decision. It's not easy though and when I read what Huk and the other Liquid guys wrote I get angry that Huk throws that all away, again, just for money. Of course, financial stability is a nice thing to have and I don't know the details of the contract, but I'd rather be poor with good friends than rich and lonely.

I'm sorry I come off bitter but Liquid always was a fortress against stupid corporations and this deal seems to show that corporations win in the end. I really wish Huk all the best but at the same time I wish EG all the worst..
I will still cheer for him though, but as Liquid`Huk and I refuse to use his new clantag.
I don't know how long this contract will last but maybe when it's over Huk can come back to Liquid, knowing that no money in the world can compensate for what Liquid has to offer.

As much as I hate it but maybe this should be a call for Nazgul to look for bigger investors. I guess it's hard to find people in the business that share your visions and I really appreciate that he won't compromise. But I would hate to see Liquid going down because of the various issues that come along with having less funds than other teams. I wish I'd be rich or would win the lottery so I could support Liquid and give them what they deserve.

Once a nerd always a nerd. After having tested out the real life with the other EG guys, Idra has realized that he is different to them, a real nerd like so many on these forums.
