I think he was expecting NASL to be a bigger deal than it was... and for Koreans not to come dominate MLG like they have.

I think he can see for himself how far he's fallen compared to where he was when he was there. And like you said, just as IdrA left, the Koreans came and dominated pretty much every major tournament haha.

Just imagine how great EG would become if they just cut Machine/Lzgamer/Strifeco/Axslav (keep incontrol for the lulz and community outreach), send Demuslim and Inc to Korea, recruit Sase and then buyout one more top zerg from some team.

That team would be frightening. Why stop at just Puma and Huk?

Back then there were many reasons, I bet there a more positive reasons for him to return now then there were when he left.

I agree with this. Greg left Korea early on in SC2's life, I'm going to assume he assumed that with his background playing in Korea for BW he would have a leg up on the foreign community and still be able to compete competively with the Korean SC2-base. Don't think he expected foreign competition to advance as fast as it did, and potentially it left him with his guard down and his game not as strong as it could be. Will be interesting to see iDra getting back into top form.

Congrats HuK and EG. Hope this works out well for them as well as Liquid.

I don't get EG sometimes, i mean i've got no problems with the team, im just remembering last year when the parted ways with tasteless because he was the asia region managment, and they were trying to focus on NA at the time, and now they're going back to korea? oh well Idra could use another run at code S anyway.

Should be sick. Can't wait to see the result of IdrA, Huk & PUMA training together. Also pretty stoked that IdrA is returning to Korea.

I like they way that handshake had BNET NA Qualifier gave so many people the right idea.

Well, Idra will be in for a big surprise about the current Code B. This is not the open tournament Idra. You'll be stuck in Code B with Puma forever while waiting for Huk to join code B.

I lol'd

Anyway, good luck to Huk, EG, and Team Liquid. With all the hype around this announcement Liquid proves why they're the classiest folks around. It's going to be nice seeing a more foriegn team presence in Korea.

EG really solidified there roster with this pick up they now have 3 Top level players and one of each race Puma, Idra, Huk is a very scary thought.

They need 3 more players if they want to have a good practice environment. Not just to practice mirror matches but to also just get breaks between practice sessions.

I haven't heard anywhere that idra will even be participating in the GSL, for all we know he will be training there and flying back and forth from foreign events

Man, I'm kinda bummed by this.

Liquid will always be my favorite team, and I'll always like it when HuK wins, but damnit EG is like the Yankees of e-sports and I just can't bring myself to be a fan.
I kinda miss Idra...

agree, just cut those guys and move their bases to Korea and train, move back to US to dominate.
