Whenever I hear Huk, it will be Liquid`Huk. Keep the good work!
And suddenly, EG has become an unbeatable power house. GG to EG's management

Great! Get IdrA away from the snarf-league players he's had to practice with, and back to the motherland!

I'm kind of confused, what exactly does Huk gain out of this? He's already in Korea training with amazing practice partners such as MC & co and had been increasing at an incredible rate as everyone can see. Not to mention he already made some very close friends at the oGs house like MC and Jinro. On top of that, Liquid had already been sending him to almost every foreign event, so it's not like he gets to go to more tourney or anything.

To me, he's moving away from a place that has already shown results, away from comfort of his good friends, and less practice partners. So why the move? Is it simply just for money?

PS: Sorry if this has been answered, I didn't browse through the entire 50 pages of the thread

HuK is a sellout and EG is a shitteam, quit overhyping stupid news like this one, it was obvious since like 20 hours ago that HuK was going to EG, the community was hoping for something more. You could have cut this bullshit way sooner if everything you had to announce was a player switching teams.

Calm down tiger. As much as I hate EG, EG has done nothing wrong. They offer a better money and Huk took it. If you are bitter cos TL lost Huk, you cant blame either EG or Huk, they just seek the oppotunity that is best for them.

You're wrong, I can blame both of them, I can blame EG for having overhyped a common player transfer that most of the community already guessed from the beggining and I can blame huk for being a sellout. Team Liquid made him the player he is right now, and instead of being gratefull he just follows the big money.

A players only goal is to make money. If Huk feels EG is his best bet to make enough money to support himself past his 30s, who the FUCK are you to judge him?

Players owe you absolutely nothing.

He doesn't owe me nothing, that's for sure, but he does owe everything to TL for making him the player that he is right now. You sir are the typical money whore. I bet you wouldn't mind getting anal fucked for a handful of dollars

HuK already paid TL for everything they did. That is the point of a contract. HuK has been representing TL, promoting their sponsors and making them money. They agreed to support him while he did this for them. Now that agreement is expired (bought out), so HuK can do whatever he wants. This is how business works, sorry.

I know it would be great if he stayed on Liquid just for you guys but he has a life to live and EG offered him more. Nothing wrong with his decision, morally or monetarily.

Maybe invite Thorzian, Fenix, Sase and Naniwa into their team house?

I'm sad to see HuK leaving liquid, but excited for another foreign team to try to make it in Korea. (even though the three players EG is sending have all lived in korea for at least one year). But anyhow, I feel teams investing money in esports, whether it be in player salaries or practice facilities is a good thing in the long run.

It will be interesting to see how HuK & Idra fare joining forces.

Also HuK will be living with much fewer people in the EG house, and no computer station next to MC. He'll have two of the best practice partners, one from the other two races, but no one to practice and theorycraft PvP with except over the internet. Time shall tell what happens.

This, plus everyone saying TL "made" Huk are completely discrediting the individual level of effort he put in as well to expand as a player and train hard while in Korea. Yes, TL provided the means, but Huk put in the work as well.

So this is certainly interesting news, but has anything been said about the EG to korea bit? 3 players isn't exactly a team house; are they setting something up with a coach or maid or possible other players visiting? They do have a pretty strong start for a gstl team like F.United for next season. Also, Idra left Korea to be able to participate in the growing foreigner scene where there are more tourneys. Is EG going to be flying these 3 around the world as regularly as Huk and Idra were each flying around?

From reading all the statements... Is it that Liquid simply don't pay competitive salaries or what?

I'm a bit sad to see HuK leave Liquid for EG but I'm not gonna hate on EG this time because this training house in Korea looks absolutely sick! Plus, I guess IdrA is going to try to qualify again for code S, that should be interesting...

Good thing EG has enough money to buy all the players they could ever want, wonder if they can buy fans too? I wonder if knowing this decision before hand effected Liquid's decision to sign Sheth and Hero, knowing that they would have some freed up money.
