Nobody criticizes a programmer for taking a new job for more money, why are we criticizing a pro gamer for taking more money?

Though I agree with you in the conclusion, that IdrA is the 3rd best non-Korean. I base this on MLG results, which are, with exceptions, the best metric for determining the hierarchy of foreign players.

You do realize there is always huge drama whenever an athlete (basketball, ice-hockey, football....etc.) changes teams, yes?

I do worry about HuK though. Training with IdrA and Puma will be great, but I can't imagine it'd be better than training with oGs. Hopefully HuK continues to do well. HuK fighting!

For the most part, we're emotional, immature children who don't understand the "grown-up" world. My take is that this makes sense. Huk put in the work and was offered a contract he literally couldn't refuse. It seems like we should be happy for Huk? After all, he is the hardest working foreigner and it is finally paying off for him!

MLG is excluding most good Europeans and its format is extremely protective to seeded players. It is the least competetive tournament format out there. Regarding prize pool I think MLG is not even in the top 5 of foreign tournaments.

He has never won anything but NA only tourneys, and in the recent month and a half his showings vs european and korean players have been poor.

I don't follow many sports, but in Formula1, if someone like Hamilton sign with someone else than McLaren, there will be drama.

Would it be better that the other players just were off living on their own or in the arizona house? It also gives them a hub to prepare for all NA tournaments Exactly. If you set up a place for the players to stay in the states and one in Korea, it cuts down on a lot of costs. No need to ship computers, worry about to boot camp or where people will stay. Its a huge move by EG, long term and impressive. Huk is a blast to watch and I'm sure he and Idra can get along. Now they just need to clean up that poster of theirs, and that website...

People didn't like it when A-Rod went to New York. The community reaction shouldn't surprise anyone. It's not just business for a fan who's emotionally invested in a team or a player.
