"better make nydus worms" Actually I've started using nydus vs mech because if they hsm a infestor it automatically dies, and this way they can live. I do agree though once the terran starts making ravens he automatically wins if he is good. I don't see how blizzard could touch the sh or raven without making the other one too strong though. Fungal does not stop ravens unless the terran is... lol | ||

Altough I agree with you as I really hate mass raven, theres a reason is done is very few ocasions, if it was super imba everybody would do it but there's a reason is very rare, even the players that like meching prefer aggressive mech to mass raven, however I've seen times where even with aggressive mech you end up in a very lategame scenario, but you can't really nerf ravens without killing mech altogether because of relation between Ravens <-> Swarm Host. Altough seeing some of the comments on here I wouldn't be surprised if thats what the people in this want, is like if terran having options other than MMM would be something outrageous . Well, Protosses started going Templar because SCV pulls were so strong against "fast" 3rds with upgrades. That way you could still get upgrades and survive a possible SCV pull. Mine buff has killed HT opening. So now we're back to SCV pulls vs. colo. The only option is to delay the expansion/upgrades in favor of more units. So P now has to play with less economy and lower upgrades against an opponent hard countering their build (Marauder Viking vs. Stalker Colo). Yeah it sucks. Well Terrans started going bio becuase immortals were so strong against "fast" 3rds with mech. That way they could still get bases and survive a posible 2 base zealot/immorta/archon. Immortals has killed mech play. Now were back to bio 2 base colo vs bio. The only option is to delay the 3rd in favor of more vikings and bunkers. So now T has to play with 5 rax and only T1 units against and opponent hard countering their build (Colossus vs bio) Yeah we can do that too, don't talk like protosses suddenly are super weak because you have to get colossus when the protoss players ALWAYS knows that the terran is going reaper FE into bio, also marauder and vikings don't hard counter colossus builds, colossus builds have been around since WoL without any changes at all, making marauders is standard in TvP anyways, you wan't to get them no matter what the opponent is doing (unless some weird void ray bust or something like that). And SCV pulls have fallen of the meta hard, they get too easily stopped, and if they fall you're pretty much dead. Don't take this the harsh way I too want more variety in the match up and I'm in favor in getting HT openers back but don't talk like protoss is being super weak because of that when terrans have even less options than protoss. | ||

I think if Major plays with more tanks/ravens maybe 2 Thors and much less vikings (only like 20vikings all together), he should have that game. Snute burned through too much gas and I think Major would have had more gas in his 3-4 bases than Snute would have had left in those expansions that were still mining. I think what Terrans might eventuall explore on maps like Deadwing in these scenarios is to relocate their whole first 3-4bases, obviously rebuild the supply depots (which is only minerals so who cares; also a good part of the supply is covered by mass orbital too), rebuild the addons (Ok, that hurts a little but its still much less gas intense than occasionally losing tanks and rallied units that defend a dead area; not to mention how much more efficient you are if you concentrate all your forces, so you also lose less defending the other area). | ||

I think many of the recent series with T does have some kind of out-of-balance aspect to them that would tip the scale in favour of the Terran. I mean, take Inno-soO, soO was probably going to take second regardless. | ||

Heart has never won a tournament in his entire career, never even made finals, while hyun was currently sitting at #1 WCS points. Why in the world would Heart be favored over Hyun? Just the opposite in fact. | ||

Yeah we can argue that every single Zerg played badly or that the Terran was favored, but the numbers speak for themselves. Terran is 13-4 in series. | ||
