Well to be honest the tournaments he did go to he rocked (Minus GSL, where he was eliminated both times by players who got Code S shortly afterwards) and if he kept it up he would have been far above "Mid-level" but i imagine having to fly all around the world all the time to do so would be tiring. Hopefully after some time for himself he comes back more motivated and even stronger!! Been a fan since Wc3, mOOnGLaDe fighting!!!!

I don't mean to sound harsh but I was never a fan of his. I never thought he was very good, relatively speaking. Also I always got the impression that he seemed to have a rather elated opinion of himself. When, really, he's just an Andy Serkis look alike who plays mediocre starcraft.

I feel like I'd feel better if they just came out and said they were dropping him because he wasn't making enough tournament appearances
But that would be a lie... What is stated is the truth. If i had a problem with a player I would probably explain that the player was kicked because he did XYZ.. However moonglade and I just dont see eye to eye about the future.

Mid-level? you dont stay #1 on the SEA server as a mid-level sc2 player im afraid. MoOnGlAdEs really has the gift and its a shame people let there jealousy blind them. Im suprised Kelly Milkis is getting all this hate after all the translating and casting shes done for the community... You guys really need to grow up and stop hating.

Liked the guy a lot but he was never in the top of SC2 players unfortunately. Anyway hopefully he continues to get better and we see him more in the future.

Haven't heared much about him in the recent months, sad to hear that now

He was never in the top, but not many players are top, and very few foreigners are. GLaDe is a solid player and he's done very well at some tournaments and beaten some great opponents.

Well,at least no drama right?
Good luck to Moonglade.RL should always come first.

ya, foreigners slowly out, koreans slowly in.

ZeNEXJJuN beat him in GSL May Ro32, who then went on to lose to Rain.

It's actually very possible to have been #1 SEA and still be nowhere near top tier... SEA was the weakest realm after LA.

I don't know what everyone's arguing about in here. I thought it was common knowledge that mOOnGLaDe is the best player in the world. o.o

Regardless i think its fairly obvious mOOnGlAde is and always has been top tear.
Even SK gaming called mOOnGlAde GOSU and put him along side other top tear pro gamers like drewbie , vibe, starlife and MoMan.
