Also its obvious these episodes were filmed a little while ago. With his mechanics he could have greatly improved. I must say though the road is looking rough ahead.

That means I could beat Yellow except a korean plat is prob like a american diamond. doh ![]() Korean plat is masters for Americans (from what artosis has said) It's really not that much of a difference. i've played on korea i'm masters in NA and i beat masters in Korea. now i lost alot of games because scouting is totally different there. i scout what is one build here and it's another one entirely there. and being a zerg player means thats a loss. thats where the biggest difficulty comes in to play in korea. everyone has random ass builds that are very refined. unlike here where everyone either uses the same refined build or random unrefined ones. makes it alot tougher to ladder as an NA server goer there. but that doesn't mean that a platinum korean can beat masters NA consistantly. There's a huge skill gradient in Masters, since the top of Masters are the actual pros and bottom are people who wouldn't even win a game in MLG Open Bracket (like HD is low/mid masters and got 2-0'd @ Dallas, JP is also masters and he was getting smashed on JP and Friends). I imagine Korea is the same, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some overlap between the two server's masters population. Anyways, it's silly to think that all of NA Masters is only Korean Plat or Diamond (Artosis does love his hyperbole, best player in the world is Artosis speak for that was really slick move!). Korea is undeniably tougher though, Kelly mentioned that she was Masters in SEA and having the hardest time getting out of Diamond in KR (I think that's when Artosis made his KR > all comment). Korea also seems to be schizo, the lower leagues are all about kill-you-now and the very top is all about how-greedy-can-I-get (from the way I've heard Wolf describe it anyways). Edit: Oh right, the entire reason I came to this thread is to ask. Did anyone catch the name of the ex-pro they saw at the BBQ place in episode 3?

You can see it in his eyes. The first three episodes. He looked like (please hear me out on this) an abuse victim that was trying to portray to the world that he was okay. You could just tell. His confidence is incredibly low. He has tons of fans and he wants to portray to everyone that he's trying. The way TheWind was talking (assuming the translations are even somewhat accurate) it seemed like it was doing much more harm than good. His speech at the end about Lim Jin Rok that sparked the fire again, I really don't know if it did. I don't know if he really still has it in him to compete. The biggest fear is he's going through the paces here because that's what people want to see. They want to see Storm Zerg become great again. Hopefully in coming episodes, his confidence and his mindset really does come back and he really does WANT to play again. Seeing the doubt and the fear in his eyes, even in training, much less the match, was incredibly sad. The show tries to be light hearted....all I saw was someone trying to live up to expectations that he himself doesn't believe he can attain. Once again, I hope that passes and he really finds the love again. YelloW Fighting.

It doesn't bother me too much because I'm korean but having only one sentence when the person is talking for like 30 seconds is like -_- Agreed , I feel like I'm missing out on tidbit's here or there. Otherwise it's a really cool show, I'm enjoying it so far. -)
