The actual yellow's sc2 ranks page is: http://www.sc2ranks.com/kr/1677523/YellOwThis is according to his fan club.. I can not say for sure but it has recent games and now that it has been 3 week after the show match this seems more realistic (It says he is Platinum). Anyway I hope this clear things up..
Um if you goto his achievements page it says he was getting achievements as early as October 2010. I don't think that's his real profile either.

Well just because it says October 2010 doesn't mean it's not his account. I'm not sure if BoxeR did give YellOw the SC2 disc in the end or not, but YellOw could have bought a copy himself and never told it to anybody.

We SERIOUSLY need a fan sub of the series. The subtitles of GOM are quite terrible from time to time. Too brief and the timing is seriously off. With minutes between each subtitle, you'd expect that they could keep the text on for more than just a few seconds. And it's always in different locations of the screen and with weird fonts.
(Edit: The last part was actually quite well texted!)

But srsly awesome show so far, I just wish they would translate everything they say rather then kinda summarize what they are talking about..

Korean plat is masters for Americans (from what artosis has said)

Supposedly there was an interview where he actually said that he was in masters. I can't access the actual article but here is a post about it:
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=11030253
Also,
http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/jqiah/yellow_made_masters_today_also_name_changed_to/
So, I don't know for sure, but it seems that a preponderance of the evidence suggests that he is in Masters.
Side note! You should probably be less condescending, especially about things you don't know.

so happy part 3 is out ^^

Guys, there are a lot of people going around trying to impersonate him with his ID. -_-

i love this show. really funny. Nestea and theWind joking around while yellow is talking to boxer on phone ("Will you bunker rush me?" ) made my day...
|
"I wanted to a paint a picture with boxer...instead it it was like boxer was the painter and I was the paint" - made me really feel for yellow, this show is so good

I think Destiny said a bit about what KR server is like.
Apparently there are around 200 - 300 players at the top who can rip apart any North American pro, and are like around Code S quality.
But in the lower leagues, there is a lot of cheese, and apparently KR macro is a little bit weaker than EU or AM macro.

Well there are some former brood war a-teamers that play ladder games, i think forgg and violet are two of them
|
for all who say here "korean platin is like us master " etc etc
i am diamond on korean server and only low master on europe and i can tell you the diamonds on korea server are WAY worse then the european master players, so its not true
ofc there are several platin gamers where i think WTF HOW GOOD IS HE but barely !!! diamond korea with a hand full of games and with overall <250 laddergames in sc2 is EASY for a C+ starcraft 1 gamer
no more of this excuses for yellow plz ^^

Did you even read what he said? I bolded the important part for you - he mentioned that in the top league (GM) KR is better, otherwise it's not a huge difference.

The problem with this show for most people is that they were all expecting this monster to just start playing with extreme dedication and just plow through to masters immediately. That makes this show just that bit more interesting, the whole episode 3 was the switch in motivation, and we'll hopefully see a totally different style from yellow now. Now he has a legitimate reason to play at a high level, and personal motivation. Soooo looking forward to seeing the change.
Personal opinion on ep3: I think they could have spent half the show showing he'd got motivated, and then start showing the changes. Also, compared to episode 2 there was a real lack of subtitles which was a real shame.

Is there a full English subbed version of this?
