A lot of the importance of the show is his mindset, and his progression as a player, which in this kind of training situation is going to come from a lot of talking about the game etc. You don't need to show me a 40 minute video of him just sitting in front of the computer. I want to see a short five minute segment of him sitting down in front of the computer, then showing the clock, and then showing the clock again ten hours later. Yellow complaining about how exhausting it is to play for 12 hours straight, going to bed. Waking up, turning on the computer and going straight back to practicing. That is all you need to give the viewers an impression that he's actually practicing and making an effort. I'm not interested in hearing "I'm gonna do it, I'm motivated now. It's time to do it." In the words of Morpheus from The Matrix. "Show me." Are you people who are dissing me seriously thinking they can't find five minutes to either fucking fake it, or put a segment like that in there? I want to see evidence of him practicing, and practicing hard. This show has been a major disappointment to me so far, because it just seems like a couple of friends having a laugh. Lol apparently you don't understand what these types of shows are supposed to be like. Whatever, but take your QQ and hatred somewhere else please. I watch plenty of documentaries about people training for events, and they show evidence of hard work and dedication. This show, however, does not. It's funny how you think it's QQ and hatred because I'm giving my honest opinion that this show has been a disappointment to me. And that's only because you don't agree with me. IT'S NOT A DOCUMENTARY! It's been a disappointment for you, but does that mean the show should change especially for you when it's already entertaining for other people? I'm giving my opinion of the show. Am I not allowed to do that? Is it some how disallowed on this forum? Please direct me to where it says "You are not allowed to say what you think about this show, unless people agree with you that is." It's a show about Yellow's journey training for a Code A qualifier. That's a documentary. I'm saying what I think about the show. Again... Where does it say I'm not allowed to do that? And people are giving their opinion of your critique, they didn't say you're not allowed to do that. Just like you can criticize the show, they can criticize your criticisms while you criticize their criticisms of your criticisms. LOLs. Anyways~ NALLLLRAAAAAA

And people are telling you why they enjoy it, despite your points. It may have been a disappointment for you, but as for myself, I've enjoyed it quite a bit. Perhaps I, and people like myself, would enjoy it less if GomTV did what you suggested -- and perhaps then another pedantic and overbearing person with a persecution complex would be in this thread doing the same thing you're doing. Anyway, I can't wait for episode 4. I expect Yellow's training will pick up very quickly, if the rumours about him being in Masters League are true. Maybe that'll make the show more interesting for the people who've been disappointed in the show's lack of competitive content thus far.

But bear in mind that it is not a documentary and they're playing up certain aspects to be funny and more dramatic. They keep referring to him being in Gold, and he says he's ranked 51st in this episode...that really just tells me he's not been laddering. Almost everything they have showed was doing a build vs AI or a custom game vs another pro... YellOw also repeatedly refers to having another account only he knows about that he was playing more games on. I admit I'd like to see more of what they're really teaching him while we can see him in game, and that's what I did originally expect the show to be, but I like this just as much once I realized it was kind of just a comedy focused thing where you could get to know some of these guy's personalities more. I also love the subtitle boxes they've done, but part of me wishes there was also actual translation of what they were saying. Sometimes you'll have like YellOw talk for like 20 seconds, and the box just says' YellOw explains his new build' But overall, I love the show, its really fun, and I bet they're massively hiding his real skill level atm.

It almost seems like GOM is alternating between two different subbing teams The 1st episode was almost exactly the same as this one in terms of the subbing effort; just giving us overall summaries of what's being said. The 2nd episode, though, had subs for pretty much everything that everyone said, literally translating what they were saying instead of just giving short summaries.

Sure, it's sometimes nice seeing them in non-practice environment, but I feel stuff like that shouldn't be presented as much in a show like this. Show how he's improving, show the actual tips, show the actual AHA moments, show the frustration. And show the damn subtitles, not this vague stuff. I have a feeling Yellow agreed to do this for the entertainment, not seriously, that's why they can't show him practicing - because he isn't doing it.
