I understand where TSL is coming from though. They paid FD/Tester the most amount of money any Korean was making at the time and they return the favor by not practicing. If I was the coach I would be strongly inclined to withholding some money from them. It's a team environment.
I realize it's not correct in a business mean but still. The team was in such a poor financal state that players like SangHo and Clide were giving money back to the team to help support it.
Also I spoke with SangHo on skype and he said that everything is normal and they are practicing for their GSTL match with oGs....so maybe the influence of the SC2PA is overestimated?
That is what someone said on Reddit

Coach Lee looks worse and worse. It's sad EG got all this garbage seeing how Coach Lee behaves himself.

Also, I did not know that junwi is the president of the SC2 association. He's the president of the SC2 Players Association. Not sure who has that title for SC2 Conference or if it even has one. Coach of StarTale, Won Joong Wook. Can read more here. Interestingly enough Fruitdealer & Tester are now on StarTale too. this might explains alot of things. Coach Won may judge things in favor of his new players, showing in that TSL doesnt have any day to appeal the decision. Coach Lee is so professional, thats why he would go apeshit over alot of unprofessional things like approaching player behind his back or sc2con being a biased bunch (like fxo suggested) To be fair, If you were Coach lee, would you pay 2 lazy asses who show almost zero results, rather than use that fund wisely to build the team ? I would not. (considering the players arent contract-bounded). TSL players must be fed up with the duo as well, theyr all with Coach Lee

Always knew coach Lee was a weirdo, so glad this happened.
In the face of all the EG haters trying to make coach lee the best lad in the world...

SC2PA? :O This is news to me.

If EG did the whole 'recruit the player, fuck his coach' to any other team, there would still be 'haters'.

This is kind of off topic but does it bother anyone that these "two highest paid players" were only making (the equivalent of) $31,000 a year? I make more than that at my entry-level job that I got without a college degree.

This is 31k$ paid in cash just for being there. They also have tournament winnings and travel allowances etc. Nevermind that they probably like their job more than you ever will.

I am not liking where this SC2 scene is going but you know what, I could care a lot less and so I will. I urge all TLers not to care and let this crap unfold as it must In the end of it all we still have blizzard <3

That should be worth something.
But that said, your concerns are still valid - the Korean scene isn't exactly bathing in money right now.
These guys aren't playing SC2 to get rich, they're playing it because they love the game (and a handful of guys will have made good money when all is said and done).

When you factor in prize money (for the select few players who regularly make Ro8+) and the fact that food and accommodation are taken care of, it looks a bit better, but right now there's just not much money. You can see why players want to join foreign teams, compare what the average player on a Korean team gets to what the EG guys get.

I really hope coach Lee realize how important it is to have a writen contract. One piece of paper would prevent all these masses.

How much influence the SC2PA actually has? What they even mean by 'taking additional action'
|
I believe the Sob Story from coach lee has run its course. Now some of the facts are coming to light. Even when it was brought up about FD and Trick during the EG/Puma drama. All the QQ for TSL and the honor system didn't mean dick to Lee. I wonder how much of Puma's purse form NASL went into Lee's pocket. Where was Milkis on this story. How was this not relevant to the point of TSL vs EG. Puma already saw the writing on the wall, but none of this was reported. I think ALex was right in telling Milkis to check some facts before releasing his "FIRST" story.
|
This whole fiasco definitely brings light to, and makes me think differently about the Puma and EG circumstances. Regardless, it has become abundantly clear that Mr. Lee is tilting and is not longer a good fit to manage the team.
I foresee, within the near future, the disbandment of Team SCV Life.

Too much hate on Coach Lee.
I support TSL and their actions 100%.
Although I love both Fruitdealer and Trickster, they don't deserve whatever they want. The SC2PA seems like an extremely unprofessional organisation that uses the standard Korean "quick judgement, no forgiveness" cultural ideology.
I could be totally wrong and Coach Lee could turn out to be a huge dick, but right now the evidence brought forward isn't that convincing either way.
Also, stuff like this only stunts the growth of SC2 in Korea. I don't know why they make a big fucking deal about every single thing, just leave it alone.

Coach lee seemed very weird since his scandal and I didn't like the following moves he did...
but this SC2con/pa looks a bit cheesy / oligarchy (-like?)

Why the hell are all the dimwit EG fanboys even in this at all? Holy shit, this is ridiculous.
