Definitely glad to see foreign teams kicking up their training efforts a gear. Good luck to the players of EG and I hope to see them post great results in coming tournaments.

I expect players like Axslav, Strifecro, Machine, LzGamer will up their game very fast with this new training house

Hoping to see the results flying in from a foreign team, I'm glad EG have taken the first steps to competing with the Korean training standard. Looking forward to seeing the inside.

Do they have a dedicated coach? From what we've seen in the Korean scene, a coach is a crucial part of the team-house system.

Great for EG, but I cant help to think that it might be time to look for new talent. Demuslim was a great pick-up, but how about one or two of the surprises of this mlg? Wannabecool for instance. The house is only as good as the people in it.

Man, how can houses be that cheap i the us? A similar house in a decent location in sweden would $1.000.000+ (ATLEAST) wtf... Edit: Probably 1.5 million with the dollar as low as it is atm though... I was talking 2006 dollars which im still pretty used to! :D
Also: Awesome teamhouse! :D Can't wait to see what kind of results this will produce.

Cuz we were dumb and built a lot of houses that people couldnt afford and bought with money they didnt have. Supply and demand means these houses are now in low demand = low price

Soon we will find out if it's practising in a setting like this that makes Koreans so great or their mindset.

Well its either the practice, or its genetics... Im willing to bet on practice!

It's not just practice. It is how you practice. A few people have tried putting players in the same house before. ROOT had some guys living together. Machine, Idra, Inka have lived together for a while.
The question is how the practice hours are going to be focused. I'm still curious if they are going to hire a coach and staff to direct how the practice hours are going to go. Will they play just in house games? How much laddering will be done? How much time devoted to replay review? How many hours a day will they put in?
This could just end up being just another bunch of guys living in a house together and not a true training environment in a more Korean style.
I'm waiting for more details. I was hoping for more details when they finally got around to releasing something.
I hope this really does help the foreigners get better and catch up to the Koreans.

Untrue, but it's in Arizona so that holds true. There are plenty of places in the Us that cost far more than Sweden and the UK, but those are generally in more populated areas (duh). That said, the EG house is still upwards of $150k and probably closer to $300k.
So what I said is true. Thanks for comfirming that.
Good luck finding a house of that size for $150-300k in the UK.

You clearly haven't tried to find a place to live in Palo Alto or Manhattan. ^^ are u seriously taking one of the most expensive cities in the world as an example? was kinda obvious that the EG guys won't get a penthouse in the manahattan skyline

it's also having a good ladder to play on to improve your general play. that's basically what Idra did during his time in korea and Huk also spends a lot of time laddering, unfortunately that's going to be missing from this house

We're talking about practice.
Practice.

Grats to EG, this should help all their players improve! Also, insanely jealous of the location.
