how is it people misunderstand shit so thoroughly?
I get called a bunch of names so I refer to those people as "shit community members' and someone is like "hey just cause someone isn't rooting for you doesn't mean they are shit!" NO KIDDING I wasn't speaking to everyone who isn't rooting for me.. I am speaking to the people that take it a step further and go personal with it.. wtf. Obviously I don't demand 100% support come on?
Why do I post in here

so many shit community members
Why can't we root for people? Why do we have to wish people ill? Especially with so many shit reasons... Alex argues on WoC so you guys want all EG members to lose? wtf? How does that make sense?
Some people think you are jerks and people want jerks to fail, posts like that one are a good example. Oh no some people said they don't like me and my team so it means they are shit people.
So many shit community members who think they deserve mindless approval =(
In the real world people root for the teams or players they like to win and the ones they don't to lose, whether it's football or StarCraft 2 or curling.

lol this sounds like a rationalization written to make what you originally said look better, you didn't single anyone out who called you names, you just said "shit community members" who "wish people ill" and "want all EG members to lose," nothing about people calling you names.

To do well:
Alicia. He's gonna smash the open bracket and I can see him doing well in pool play. I feel like he's strong enough to win the tournament, so I'm surprised to see him get very little attention in this thread so far.
Destiny. I just want to see him make it out of the open bracket. I don't care if he gets seeded into pool play, as long as he at least makes it to the championship loser's bracket I'll be happy.
Major. Everyone hates him, but he still plays really well, so I'll be rooting for him.
Qxc. I wanna see his training in korea pay off, he was in great shape against IM and I hope he uses some of that momentum to to do well at Anaheim.
Megumixbear. Would like to see a girl do well in SC2.
To Fail:
Everyone from EG. Incontrol is a tool, IdrA is a negative nancy, and everyone else on the team is mediocre.
Everyone from CoL. Another bunch of really mediocre players.
Everyone from Liquid. They're good, but way overrated. The only member from the team who even remotely lives up to the hype around him is HuK, but that wasn't even until he won Dreamhack and Homestory Cup.
Boxer. This guy is so far past his glory days it's not even funny. He's the SC2 equivalent of a modern day backstreet boy. Get over him already.
This post is.......lol.
I can't believe someone's posting on TL while hoping everyone from teamliquid fail.

I haven't done one of these lists, but I figure I'll say my piece.

Obviously I don't demand 100% support come on? Why do I post in here I considered myself an Incontrol fan for a long time. I met you at MLG Dallas (the first one) and you were really nice. I also have no problem with anyone else from EG. Lz, Machine, and Idra were all awesome and I still cheer for them. My issue with you is two fold. First was just occasional comments from you that rubbed me the wrong way. I brushed those off though. I still thought you did a lot for the community and that should be commended. What pushed me over though was this recent comment: " 'I honestly take more offense at people coming from other sports just to make money in Starcraft II--someone like TotalBiscuit," adds Incontrol. "I take less offense to someone like Lindsey, an actress and a model, getting hired for a gig and she says yes not because she’s looking to get rich but because it’s a good job doing what she enjoys and she’s dedicated to doing it well.' " (Source)
This comment bothered me a lot. Assuming TB actually did just do all this for profit and had no vested interest in the community, I still wouldn't mind him. That's something that every sport or competitive scene has. Even if his intentions were selfish he would still be putting forth time and effort to add something to the community. Growing the community for the wrong reasons is still fine by me. However, I don't really think that is the case with TB. He's hosted tournaments with the money he made off his stream. He does a fair bit of stuff for the fun of it, not expecting any large gain from it. He took the time to record that silly "Fear of the Grack" song*. He seems to actually care about the community and I was really disappointed by your comment.
My disappointment didn't stem from my feelings towards TB, nor my feelings towards you, but rather from the elitist nature of what you said. It bothered me that you'd indite someone for coming from another scene into this one because they were impressed by it. That's the sort of thing that should be encouraged. If someone sees SC2 and says "that's awesome, lets see what I can add to that community" they should be praised, not bemoaned.
So, in short, I don't wish you harm. I don't hate you. I just won't be cheering for you anymore. Its a shame because at one point I could always be found in your corner.
*+ Show Spoiler +I know he probably profited from this, but I doubt the profit was significant

Hopes: Boxer- he needs to get out of that slump

His post iS "lol" but not because he iS posting on TL while hoping everyone on teamliquid will fail.... There iS no irony here. He just thinks TL are over-rated. Don't TurN this isn't a "TL owns the scene because its where the scene meet." bullshit.
People I WanT to succeed:
Destiny: The man iS pretty straight forward in his approach with dealing with people, and that has caught him a lot of flak. His fans are possibly the worst fans (with possibly the exception of IdrAs) in the scene. He has also had more viewers than he "should had" if it were Only based on skill level, and that makes him the Black sheep of this family as far as I am concerned. However, over the last ~3-4 weeks this guy has improved REMARKABLY. His Infestor ling hit squads have been spreading players wider than Zergs have done in the past. I hope him results from it!
Sheth: The manner zerg. I feel he has also taken a bit too much slack recently for (their words) "Not being dedicated enough" Which I feel iS so unfair. He didn't like the house set up in Korea, he found that out, and he didn't WanT to go down that path. Lets see him wreck face without a team
qxc: He Lost my Heart when he went to Spain/went through a lul, then joined FXO... But god damn did he get it back after his efforts in the GSTL. I don't need to say more
People I WanT to fail:
Major: The BM has worn me down with this kid. He iS Only Young, but shows much less maturity than most people had when they were 17. Getting sprung smurfing iS simply Bad PR, and the last of respect he seems to show everyone just Really annoys me. He will do amazing. He will Really Shine... But I'M not looking forward to it.
MC: I Love the play, but the ceremonies are CHeeSY and lame to me. Plus, he has won enough. I Love to watch David smash Goliath Into the ground.
MMA: Generally, I'M against Koreans just coming by and winning all NA-tourneys Money. It doesn't make me popular around here, but I can deal with that. Much like MC, I just WanT to see some home-grown talent Really take it to these players.
As you can see, I'M probably going to be disapointed based on the people I WanT to fail, however at the End of the day, I WanT great games. The last MLG blew my pants off.... Really... I Sat around all Weekend in my undies, under my blanket. Based on the improvement last time, I could be naked this time around... Make it happen, MLG.
EDIT: Oh shit... The TLDB thingy made all my words do weird shit.. Sorry.

I'd love to see the following people win (or do well) in this order :
EG.IdrA : He's such a boss. People complain about his BM, but who doesn't rage after losing? I certainly ragequit very often. Well, it's not really a ragequit, I just don't say "gg" if I think it wasn't a good game, and if I think that my opponent played poorly. But when someone pulls off an incredible micro trick right in front of me or just outmacroes me when I feel like I'm playing well, then I type (in full letters) "good game, well played man" or something like that and then I leave. Anyway, back to IdrA, when it comes down to pure skill, nobody can argue with the fact that he's a top player. He ended up being the best non-Korean player at the last MLG, I hope he ends up being the best player overall.
WhiteRa : He's an extremely good protoss, one of the only who are good in my opinion. There are many that achieve something such as beating IdrA (e.g. Cruncher), but are just way behind him in terms of skill. While you can beat someone once, it doesn't mean you're better by any means. IdrA losing to MC is another example of that. I think that IdrA lost his focus and his self control due to his emotions, and didn't show his skill to its full extent, which he did in the series he won. Even Combat-EX admitted that IdrA's better than him, even though he's already beaten IdrA. Combat-EX being notoriously known as a bm player (doesn't make him a bad player, though), he still acknowledged that. Anyway, back to WhiteRa, he's just very good and hasn't really had a lot of achievements I think, and he really has a chance.
- KiWiKaKi : He's an extremely good protoss player too, and I sincerely hope he does well, because it's been a looong time since he hasn't had any result that was close to his true skill. I don't really know what's been going on, but I hope it's ended and I hope he can show how good he is. I've been a fan of him for a while, now.
- Bonus : SlayerS_Boxer : He's a legend, but he just doesn't perform very well. He already played some games that show how good he can be, but the quality of his play seems kinda random. He can play one very good game with incredible micro/macro/..., and another one that looks like a standard master player game. I hope he does well because he's really famous and Day9 loves him :D
- Bonus 2 : LiquidJinro : I'm a huge fan since he pwned Socke in the MLG he won. Twice. He demonstrated great talent, and is one of the only terran using mech in TvP (which is strange because mech in TvP is very strong.... just like in every other match up, because mech is just as viable as bio, maybe with a touch of ghosts in the army comp).
The players I want to perform awfully (in this order) :
aTn.Socke : He's a very cocky player and I don't think that he deserves his fanbase. He said at MLG that after seeing that IdrA lost he was very happy because then he would won, because other player were bad as f.ck (he didn't say this last part but that's what he meant), which is incredibly rude, especially because he got mold twice by Jinro right after that. Now I just hate him
EG.IncontroL : I don't like that guy. He's not a top player imo. He's good, but players like WhiteRa and KiWiKaKi are just at an another level. He gets a lot of fans for some reason, which I ignore. He's neither a top player nor a good caster. I don't hate him, but his skill level shouldn't allow him to score well.
HDStarcraft : zomg he's an awful caster and an awful player. He's just not a pro at all. What is he even doing here ? He got rolled over once already at MLG, why does he want to take a beating a second time ?

Lots of people have shit reasons for rooting against people; it doesn't make them shit community members if it isn't particularly hostile or aggressive. Plenty of people hate the Clippers for no other reason than the fact that Donald Sterling's a gigantic ass, regardless of how nice / awesome Blake Griffin is. Who cares? Deal with the people who like you. You don't have time for the others. Unless you're getting Slayers_Eve level vitriol, in which case you should go Jessica on their asses.

I usually like incontrol, but I won't be rooting for him due to his "TL players talk more shit as they get worse" with regards to TLO's RSI and thread on EG.

I honestly don't know why you do. Why would you give the hater trolls your time of day? It will just encourage them. I think every player has their haters, though I am confused why TL has not yet cracked down harder on this wave of irrational hate that seems to be consuming the community of late.

Man, the SC2 has to be the most polarized gaming community I've ever been a part of. I absolutely LOVE how dedicated so many people are to making SC2 what a fantastic game it is, and on the other hand I absolutely cant stand how sensitive some people are and the sense of entitlement of others. Please stop trying to make a name by fucking with iNcontroL, and please stop being so excruciatingly analytical about the things that are incredibly insignificant.
tl;dr Let's try to enjoy what a fantastic game we have here, and lets help it grow
