Even harmless people who are of peaceful nature could be like: "This thread asks me to name a player I want to fail.....Well now that i think of it XY is just bullshit". Even though many are respectful in their comments or even leave out the "hopes to fail" there are too much hateful and provoking comments in here, at least in my opinion. I think it should be renamed into something like: "Which three players will you cheer for at anaheim?". It would be less interesting but more human. | ||

What I DO expect from this MLG is insane skill from MC - Idra (please no early gg's, is all i ask) - HuK - Boxer! (i mean, why not!), I'm quite sure I'll stay up to late hours analizing every game due to their epicness. Being a fanboy isn't THAT bad, but being a mindless fanatic is bad... same goes for religion, for example, a lot of people tend to see muslims like fanatic terrorist, let's compare between FANATICISM and being a "fanboy" (I dont want to call them fanboys AT ALL, it's not my intention either, but i cant find a word to describe it as an analogy, im sorry about my way of speaking, english is not my native language, I use the word "fanboy" as someone who follows his ideals) for their religion. Don't get too worried iNcontroL, there are a lot of people who support you, and some that don't give a * about you, it's just life, you can't be everybody's friend, just don't worry and keep up the good work, you're doing it fine. PS: Please keep in mind my english isn't perfect, I'm sorry if you find it hard to read my post, again, I couldn't find a word to put in the analogy and I don't want anybody to get angry about it... | ||

1. EG.iNcontroL - iNcontroL is one of my favorite people in the StarCraft community and I always hope for him to do well. This MLG, however, I hope so even more so than usual. With the NASL just ending, and him backing out of many of his community projects in order to focus more on being a player, I am really excited to see what he can do! People forget that he was among the best of the best foreigner Brood War players, and I don't think his full potential has been exhibited thus far in SC2. 2. Liquid`TLO - As one of the funniest, and most entertaining guys in SC2, how can you not root for him?!?! With his recent injury affecting his play, I really hope he can overcome it and show us some amazingly fun games that he is famous for =) 3. EG.Machine - Being a Zerg player myself, Machine has been one of my favorite players since the beginning of the beta. He's not real flashy or exciting but he has the ability to be a really solid player, and when he is at the peak of his game he is tough to beat. He had a strong MLG performance in Dallas 2010 I believe, taking 4th place or something like that, but it has been a while since he has posted any other notable results. Hopefully he has finally pulled everything together and is able to have a strong performance this MLG! Honorable Mention: Sheth!!! - If Sheth wasn't so damn good I would've put him in my top 3, but I decided to go with players that were more of the underdog type. Nevertheless, I want Sheth to do awesome and to make himself an ever more valuable asset on the free agency market! Sheth is probably the nicest person in SC2 and also one of the strongest players, so I want him to have a strong performance and show off for his potential future teams. Hopes to fail 1. sixjaxMajor - If there is any one player I am rooting against, I'd have to say it is Major. I've never liked him personally and the recent tournament smurfing incident only added to that. He's a good player but I won't root for him unless he really turns his act around. 2. Korean players - I like watching Koreans play, but even more then that I like watching foreign players beat Koreans. I guess it is just a pride thing, but I am sick of seeing Koreans dominate in foreign tournaments! 3. SlayerSMMA - Nothing personal against MMA, I actually like him quite a bit. The reason I am putting him on here is basically the same as my previous reason, except this is the guy who won last time. I don't want to see Koreans winning two MLGs in a row, but even more then that I don't want to see the same Korean taking two MLGs in a row. Edit: Just noticed iNcontroL's post in this thread... makes me sad =(. I'm glad I put him as my #1 hope to win now though! Gogo iNcontroL! | ||

One pro tip just for you: DON'T read YouTube comments. They are hazardous to your health. Go see a doctor because you might be already affected. And it's pretty BM to wish to someone to fail. What happened to "Let the best player win"? Whoever they are, if they play better they win. Simple. So much hate in this thread. And why? | ||

Win White-Ra: In his stream and almost everywhere he plays, he shows amazing games but the results make people believe that White-Ra isn't the awesome player he is, + Show Spoiler [White-Ra vs Sen Showmatch] + Many people said that Sen would take it 4-0 or 4-1, still Sen won but 4-3, even though it means they don't believe in White-Ra Jinro: Jinro, the 2 time Ro4 player in the GSL, MLG Dallas 2010 Winner, the gorilla terran, he was once consider the best non-korean player in the world, but suddenly he fell down really hard, getting knocked out of Code S making it only to the Ro16 in Code A, right now Jinro needs to prove something, he needs to win this and make it back to Code S. MVP: He needs no introduction, he is the World Champion in Starcraft 2, 2 GSL titles, having one of the Top 3 TvT in all the world (IMO), but right now he is in a similar situation like Jinro, fell down lost very early in the GSL, even Tastosis agrees he did fall down, if MVP wins MLG be ready because we will witness MVP shred the GSL with all the psychological impulse he would get by winning MLG. Lose Spanishiwa: Pretty much the same reason as you said. Major: Again not much against him, but with the recent incident if he makes it far it will be in a way frustrating. But I can still hope that some ppl lose and some ppl win. Hopefully I'm not a "shitty community member". | ||
