I don't think this is really comparable to situations like Puma or Rain. TDH was leaving Korea anyway to study and this was just a good opportunity that presented itself because of that, he wasn't sought out by a foreign team, nor was it the other way around, its an alliance of convenience.

Congrats to TanDongHo and Dignitas. Good to see Korean interest in the foreign scene.

They contacted TanDon, TanDon contacted his coach, his Coach didn't flip shit and worked with TanDon to help make the transition easier. Bullshit. It looks nothing like that, stop looking for drame where there is none. TDH thanks his coach for looking into the information for him, what it looks like is the player decided to come to university in England and his coach helped find him a team that could better support him abroad.
Select won i42 maybe TDH will win i43.

The post explicitly stated that Select recommended TanDon to Team Dignitas. And I'm not trying to stir up drama, I'm trying to point out that no drama should have occurred since this is the exact same thing. I read that as saying that the coach looked into relevant information after the fact.

koreans: apart of every team outside of korea

Good for both sides!
Gogo Dignitas.

He studies abroad, AND has a job?!
Damn, does he have his Shit together! Good luck TDH!

So now the only Dignitas SC2 player who actually resides in their country of operation is a Korean studying abroad?

Interesting pick up, I personally just learned of TanDongHo this morning and from what I've seen of his games today the kid is a beast and has potential for a very bright future. All these trades/pick ups/ partnerships are getting exciting can't wait to see how it all plays out in the next few months.

Yeah, I didn't know too much about TanDongHo until very recently (think it was the iCCUP Finals, maybe?) and he looked impressive. Nice pick up by Dignitas and I like the class that all parties are showing.

You're forgetting dignitas.BlinG
Probably the best player in the UK along with DemusliM of course, but he's up and coming, I'd look out for him!

TanDon was already looking to join a foreign team, something his coach knew about beforehand. The coach even helped TanDon with that process.
Please don't state your interpretation as facts or make a conjecture like "this is how it should be done" when you don't even know the story.

Not a fan up ZenEx but hope he does well for Dignitas!
|
good news, will be looking forward to seeing him play in foreign events.
congrats to Dignitas and TanDongHo!

That's cool. It's a good way for the player to keep on playing instead of missing out on being a pro while studying.

woohoo Koreans going everywhere! This really is their national sport lol.
