And i don't think that Dignitas was thinking: omg.. all those foreign teams get koreans.. lets look at the GSL and acquire the best player we find there. I think it was more of an oppertunity that came on their road. Maybe Zenex/TandongHo even initiated the signing. Since Tandongho would not be able to stay with the team because of his studies, but still wants to play with a professional sc2 team. And Dignitas was the team that accepted it. I might be totally wrong though ![]()

Congrats Dignitas! best of luck in your future competitions and best of luck to TanDong on his new team. Really? Because that's exactly what it looks like. They contacted TanDon, TanDon contacted his coach, his Coach didn't flip shit and worked with TanDon to help make the transition easier. That's what happened differently. What Lee did was incredibly unprofessional and incredibly rude and accusatory when it was completely uncalled for. He could have, much like Coach Yoon did, react positively and supportive of Puma. Instead, what did he do? Coach Lee threatened Puma with telling me that he'd get massive negative lashback for it and then went on a crusade against EG. He even quoted puma himself saying that puma told him that he'd bear any negative backlash for it and that he could handle it. Who the fuck does that? Who goes out of their way to purposefully pile on more stress to someone who according to Lee was already very stressed out?? What he should have done was be supportive of Puma being able to actually make money for what he wants to do. Ultimately, Lee is just salty that so many people are leaving him and this was just his last straw--he would have flipped out no matter what happened. He would have flipped out if they spoke to him first, he would have flipped out if Puma never spoke to him, he would have flipped out if they all sat down and had ice cream together.

And i think its pretty good for the korean teams too actually. Since some foreign teams seem to be able and willing to pay for playertransfers, the Korean teams could get some extra revenue. This will allow them to provide their players with better conditions. And the Korean scene is very talented, so more players could rise to the status of progamer. The foreigners just need to make sure that the negotions about playertransfers are being done in a non-shady way, that leaves all parties satisfied. And the koreans need to see the necessity of contracts in this globalizing industry, instead of basing their team on traditional/cultural korean values like loyalty and trust.
