If a famous news anchor does a story, then later comments on the story with a biased view, then they've essentially done some shitty journalism. Milkis, your job is to translate, and it's fine for you to join the discussion, but you're just as bad/guilty as all of the idiots who were assuming this or that in this situation. You're either just a translator with no bias, or you're translating an article (not a translator) to make a comment on. You're not both. If you post an article, don't make biased comments and/or assumptions.
A lesson without pain is meaningless for nothing can be gained without giving something in return.

I really like listening to DJWheat, AG and Milkis.

I also appreciate reading, most, comments on TL.net.

You all seem to be intelligent people.

Its hard to form my own opinion about this subject. I think I'm gonna sleep a night over it.

And with that said. I feel like that would work for some more people regarding this subject

LOL

I don't even know what to say.

Here is your news ladies and gentlemen, TEAMLIQUID IS RUINING ESPORTS.

HAHAHAHAHAH so good.

What, you guys need a sarcasm tag to understand it?

I don't think you can backtrack from that one, bud. Take it in stride.

Backtrack, fuck no. You're also ruining e-sports.

Are you kidding me? Let's degrade this thread into "ruining esports" and "bias so I'm not changing my stubborn opinion".

Try for a second to think about the points they are making instead of how they act or their personalities or how arrogant you perceive they are, and MAYBE a rational thought will develop.

So many people here will hang on ONE word or ONE phrase and not understand the general idea the person is talking about, and will rant for 250 pages about how "right" they are.

Who cares if they cut milkis off because he doesn't have a fucking argument. If he's basic argument is that EG was disrespectiful, then FINE, just say that and the topic is done. If his argument is that this is bad for the scene and for the players, then I have NO idea when or how he made that point. His argument is : feel sad for Coach Lee because.... I mean you can't do this because this is always how we've done this.

Whereas AG is trying to grow the entire esport scene as a whole and not make in a "korean" scene. He is afraid that all the korean organizations will band together and make it even more difficult for foreign teams to get involved and trade players, which is totally understandable given how KESPA currently operates.

I love Milkis, and his translations. But as an SC2 fan and teamliquid member, I just don't know why you are all upset and taking his side. What IS his side? I love SC2 more than coach lee. I love sc2 more than being 100% proper in every conceivable player negotiation.

Yes, who cares if the HOST OF THE SHOW cuts one of the guest off, when the other guest is constantly insulting and accusing him.

WHENEVER he tries to defend himself by making a point, the HOST, cuts himself.

WHENEVER the other guest tries to accuse him of something, the HOST, lets him go on for 5minutes.

Of course he doesn't have an arguement, I'd be surprised that he could have one in half sentences.

you do realize DJwheat is pretty "in bed" with EG in terms of sponsors/events/casting jobs. He wasn't there as a unbiased ref/moderator. Not saying its a bad thing just that, it was a very EG sided show despite AG trying to self destruct at the end by attacking Milkis.

Dont say stuff like that without putting any argumentation behind it.

I can say "Everyone who sides with EG are fucking retarded!" but I dont, cus that´s stupid to say.

If you were watching SOTG, then you got the argument behind it. If you knew something about business or the international market, you wouldn't have needed to watch SOTG to know AG is right.

It's hillarious how everyone is calling bias when there's blatant bias the other way around here in this thread like crazy, isn't it?

I don't think this is EG's fault and entirely PuMa's fault. He is the one who turned his back on his team at the drop of a hat. When is EG supposed to get access to Korean players except when they're visiting the United States?

This is 100% TSL's fault for not paying a high value asset sufficiently. The real story is that at least franchise players are getting enough salary to justify moves like this, and that is a great thing.

If the gap was that big, Puma wouldn't have signed in the first place.

Love how everyone rants about some huge cultural gap when Puma himself made the "Western" choice.

You mean like the EG training house? To practice against a bunch of players completely out of his league, and ladder on a server not even worth his time? Yeah, sounds like a great way to improve. Sure he gets plane tickets, but he's gonna be relying on his salary without the ability to actually win tournaments. Training in the USA is going to kill his skill.

Or the fact it was an unfair debate and there was uncalled for personal attacks/passive aggression and needless spin.

Or the fact that people are more interested in the way things are done, than the boring cold buisness things.
