You haven't experienced true SC/SC2 until you've watched a re-stream with Korean commentators screaming excitedly in a language you can't understand. This is definitely just the WCG-OGN deal that's been in place for pretty much forever. Honestly, I wouldn't even bank on English casters, since the main target for this will be the Koreans (it's only WCG Korea qualifiers). Still, cool. But yeah, I'd say 99.9% chance we won't see Tastosis.

Maybe it will add some of the old broodwar flavor to watch sc2 with korean commentary! That means SC2 will be on television, because as you might (not) know, GomTV is actually not a television ^_^

This is awesome XD wish i lived in SK >< things seem to be on the up and up for sc2 over there right now. Not really, SC2 isnt doing too hot in korea as evidenced by PC bang popularity rankings, grassroots gaming activity, the streaming community and event attendance. Its more about trying to cash in on whatever they can with their existing wcg contract.

Chances are Gom allowed WCG, for good reasons, broadcasting rights to the SC2 games. Since OGN broadcasts WCG in Korea, this is why OGN is broadcasting SC2. I tweeted about it since it wasn't stated on one of the articles I read despite other WCG games being stated to do so. Then I read a TIG article that stated it You guys are reading FARRRRR too much into this. This is just a part of WCG. OGN can't do anything other than that since GOM has exclusive rights to broadcasting SC2 for 2 more years.

That said because its on TV there is a good chance that people who don't watch SC2 will be watching it anyway, so maybe they can attract some new fans, although that raises the question over whether OGN will want to work particularly hard on this. Its in their interest for SC2 to fail, or at least not take off until they can broadcast it.

I don't know why people give such polarizing opinions when it comes to bw/sc2 stuff but seriously it needs to stop especially if you're just making things up ~_~
