Socke is perhaps the most underrated player of all time in my eyes, every tournament this guy plays in he finishes around Top8, He's always just short a few spots of gaining some sort of cash prize. Everytime people mention this guy its like yeah hes good and move on, he dosen't even get the time of day from critics.
Generally players who dont have any real exciting flare to their play and just play a solid game are underrated, cant really blame that from a spectator POV though.
wtf socke if you didnt know, socke was kind of an innovator for the use of carriers...

maybe MVP is underrated but at the same time hes overrated.
Maybe its because he hasnt gotten a lot of attention lately.

Socke, and MaNa. I have loved both of their play ever since I first saw them play, MaNa vs Naama at Dreamhack, and Socke vs Dewbie at last years MLG. I remember Socke being the first person I ever saw to use a hallucinated phoenix to scout.

Serashin, once i tripple my apm im unstopable because my race (Protoss) supports with my knowledge wich exceeds any other pro players a high winratio.
Also my macro has yet to be topped.

This guy and HasuObs also (they have a very similar playstyle). I realized how insanely good Socke is during his hour or 2 with Mr. Bitter.

This might be a surprising answer, but he's considered the worst by many when he's actually pretty average. He actually did pretty well in some of the ICCUPs (Even defeating MarineKingPrime along the way) and while it's ridiculous to consider him a top pro, he's WAY better than the flak he gets.
In other words, on a score of 0-100, he's like a 50 but considered a 0 by almost everyone. The other underrated players mentioned by everyone else are like 70s-80s and rated as 50s.

Most of the Chinese players because they rarely show up in foreign / Korean offline tournaments. Only time was Loner in GSL and Blizzcon and TylooJim who will attend IEM in Germany. Chinese upsets have happened in Broodwar, Warcraft 3, and it will happen in Starcraft 2. Chinese players are very skilled for the anonymity they have.
For Koreans and foreigners I'd say TOP, Select, and Dimaga.
