spoken for truth, if Mr. Chae really wants to see how successful this gsl event can be outside of korea, host it somewhere else other than that overpriced blizzcon ![]() you can literally fill a stadium if its free providing if its a good finals matchup ![]()

"Blizzcon" is always going to be this far-off fantasy dream for me, with tickets being $200. What is the point of holding it at blizzcon? Blizzcon tickets are already sold out before people even knew about this GSL thing. So it's not like they are earning any extra money. If they are going to host an event without expecting profit, why not make it absolutely free (outside of blizzcon)? Just hold it in California, FREE OF CHARGE, and I guarantee it will fill stadiums. If you doubt this, compare to MLG's price and venue (Ohio, $20). Whilst I'm at it, let's have Taylor Swift do the opener. Maybe we can fill a whole football stadium. What do you know ? Maybe it will be held the day after Blizzcon, with the Blizzcon buyers getting better seats. Un til you get Blizz's official press word on this, don't assume anything. It may be free like in Korea, who knows. I'm pretty sure it will be more than just a Korean GSL Finals. Relax!

Oh how i hope something like that happens. I wouldn't ever expect it to be free, but as long as it was priced reasonably i would pay to see those finals.

Gomtv has stated it will be the same dates as blizzcon in the convention center. It will not be a separate event

Seems like California is slowly becoming a Starcraft hub as of late, with MLG coming up, NASL just ending, and now the GSL. Add in the fact that Blizzcon will top it all off, and you have some happy campers in Cali. I bet all of the competitors and commentators living there are loving their all-expenses paid trips to 30 minute from their house ![]()

I'm hoping that its not just for Blizzcon (Sold Out) ticket holders and they are going to sell separate tickets. If not its kinda funny how this GSL is going to be the closest one to me geographically speaking and yet its still just about as inaccessible as if i had to get a plane ticket to South Korea. Can't complain to much tho as MLG Anaheim will be awesome!
