Yeah because you can't get into the convention center unless you show your BlizzCon pass.

This is AWESOME. I fully predicated this would happen. Turn out is so much stronger in America and when it was first mentioned that a GSL event would be held overseas I knew GOM would piggyback off of either MLG or Blizzcon.

But this is also DISAPPOINTING. You know we have to fight like dogs with the World of Warcraft fans just to get tickets? And do you know how poorly Blizzcon tournaments are run? 2-3 hour delays between matches. I hope GOM plans on using it's own streaming technology and crew as the vast majority of us will be sadly watching from home... making this somewhat pointless.

I can guarantee you that if blizzard brings in a promotional truck just to rebroadcast the finals outside(60 ft+ widescreen), people will swarm to just watch the finals. It'd be freaking epic.

I live less than an hour away from Anaheim, but I won't get to watch Tastosis cast a spectacular awesome finals (hope) because I didn't buy a blizzcon ticket the 5 minutes they were available.

I really don't care much for Blizzcon, but I'd gladly shell out money for me and my girlfriend to go to a GSL Finals! Something tells me it'll stay as Blizzcon only though, because the logistics of setting up their own venue is probably too great for GSL, I just hope the next final they bring to the states is near me.

With the popularity of SC2 rising since last Blizzcon, I hope they put the GSL and Blizzcon Finals on the Main Stage. So many seats. Whenever I passed by the main SC2 stage when games were going seats tended to be full. I say skip the musical act, just have the GSL finals as the closing ceremonies. (Or after a shorter musical act).
