Unless Epgimix cheesed White-Ra in an incredibly bm manner (where cheese might be frustrating but isn't bm, so please differentiate), it was Epgimix' own achievement to put the series to 2-0 and there was nothing to make up for on Epgimix's side, just on White-Ra's. Therefor I find Epgimix act weird, throwing away a huge lead against someone who you usually don't get to get such an advantage on. It's a tournament after all.

There's a crying emoticon under current mood. I'm sure there's some way to use it if you can figure out how to write it.

White Ra was disqualified from his first match for being five minutes late. Gimix, the player that got a default win because of the DQ went on to face White Ra in the losers bracket with a 2 game advantage. So he threw two games to even the score so they'd be totally even, as if the previous day had never happened (Aside from them both being in the losers bracket). That's not daily gl hf sportsmanship. That's fucking hero mode sportsmanship. To do that is outstanding. To do that at the MLG against one of the best players in the world? That's hero mode.

He didn't cheese to get up 2-0. He didn't even play. White Ra was DQ'd for not showing up on time. So by giving away the first two games, he made it an even bo3 instead of an up-2-already-bo7.

I've been out of the country for a while so I haven't got to play my placement match until tonight. Got placed into platinum (go me! ^^) and noticed that there were only two people in my division. Does anyone know why this is? Obviously, it makes no difference to me in actually playing the game, but I find it somewhat curious. I guess this happened cause I played the placement match so late, and just got placed in the "last" division. Thoughts?

I was wondering did anyone ever notice that you can graviton lift larva from a zerg base and kill them in air? I was just messing around vs the AI and noticed that you could do that, didn't want to make a thread on something like that though (even though I searched and found nobody talking about it before). Anyways does anyone have thoughts on some builds low level P could use vs Z with a tactic developed strictly at that? Sounds like it could be pretty fun. lol

I was just looking through the mlg open bracket results and I was wondering, who on earth is State? He tore through the open bracket, beating destiny 2-0 and Fenix 2-1 before losing 2-1 to Qxc. Is this a fluke or has he been performing at the lesser known tourneys?

I think I can shed some light here. A 4 gate doesn't 'damage' eco so much as delay any tech from protoss. We can't produce from four gates continously and tech at the same time so either your opponent is expanding behind heaps of troop, mistiming something (or forgot to chrono warpgate tech), is getting an upgrade like +1 before attacking or is bad. Keep scouting for army comp and if any expos are on the way. Otherwise, I suggest going for tech of your own (drops/siege/banshees/bioball) and expanding behind an upgraded attack. Watch for a templar archives though, as this could mean a delayed blink or charge attack with 4 gates. Hope this helped :-)
