Wow i actually listened to the whole song, which is something becuase i usually can't make it past the first verse. I like this one a lot for some reason. I don't like the original THAt much, but this is pretty sick.

This is absolutely wonderful - I got actual nerd chills at the line "Let's rejoice in this beautiful game". I know it's unaltered from the World Cup version, and it fits perfectly. Starcraft 2 is "the beautiful game" just like soccer. I had even used the same analogy on a friend earlier today to convince him to watch Starcraft 2. The way pros play Starcraft 2 is a beautiful thing; like watching Maradona dribble.
The Jtv commercial actually isn't that bad, but having been forced to watch it so many times has driven me nuts! This song has brought me back to sanity, thank you!!
With the exception of Cast that Shit by Rob Hustle, this is honestly the best starcraft related song I've heard. Mad props man and hopefully this will be spotlighted.
I think this is actually my favorite starcraft parody song of all time. Husky's banelings is still a top one just because its a live video and all that... but this was VERY good. Very well done man! Seriously! I loved how you referenced BW as well as SC2 and had very well known games as well as Destiny ladders games. The wide variety was awesome. Seriously, good fucking job!
I wish there was a thread (or liquipedia page) where one could browse all the awesome songs made throughout the year of SC2. There are so many and I can't keep track of them all. I try to favourite them on youtube but sometimes I forget and some i am bound to miss.

Imo with metal (I'm gonna pretend the "nu" wasn't there) lyrics are often less obvious, its much better to have songs like this when the lyrics are the important part.
Going in, my expectations weren't that high, but you are extremely talented. I proceeded to listen to the Lupe Fiasco remix, and that was even more impressive. Great song, even greater video. I really loved the original, and this is probably the best SC cover video I've ever seen. Watching this video is like a stroll down memory lane with episode 100 of Day9, Nada's 400 APM video, Losira's insane mechanics, MC's IdrA call-out, Tastosis jokes, etc. It literally brought tears to my eyes because of all the memories screaming through my mind. Sometimes it almost feels like I know these guys and hang out with them every night. And it reminds me of my friends and all the fun times I've had watching SC and shooting the shit... good times.
Really awesome song! Until I saw this I didn't really see the point in all those SC2-songs but this one was really good and there's some serious effort put into it.

It's funny enough that a song about revolution, rising up against oppression and fighting "the man" has been turned into a celebration of one of the world's biggest sports event run by a corrupt organisation (representing "the man" if nothing else) - and now it's become a Starcraft II parody?

Thanks for this song. I play SC2 for two weeks and 3 days and got promoted to Platinum yesterday and the first thing I've done was dancing to this song.
I normally hate these corny videos (that Husky stuff is atrocious) but this was actually very well done, especially the scene selection was interesting + entertaining, GJ
Whereas the other SC2 songs the community has been blessed (or cursed..? ) with are catchy and fun, this touches, I think, a much more serious side of the life of a semi-casual or hardcore player's life. This song strikes at a place closer to the heart and dreams of the players. What I like is that what we relate to in this song is not that we also share knowledge of a small, rather stupid-looking creature that waggles along and spreads its acid stomach contents in a fatalistic manner, or that we hold knowledge of the hiphop/rap stereotype music videos and the merge of that and SC2 jargon/terminology/metagame. No, here we relate to what is our hope - outspoken or secretly coveted in the hidden corners of our "I just play for fun" public stance - that one day, one day when the match history says win win win win win win win win win win win win a thousand times, we, too, will be standing on a stage, spotlights illuminating our triumphant victories, being cheered at by the crowd, giving our insightful analysis of how the game should be played to the post finals interviewer.
Yes, those are the strings that the fleeting, almost sad tunes of this beautiful piece of music plays on in our souls. The story of the singer and his endeavours to get better is the story of most of us. We had a lan event in India (www.icgc.co.in) Electronic Sports World Cup and - which had CS, DOTA and SC2 of course. But there no one really knew abt sc2 other than about 8 of us. We played this song along with banelings video of husky to get them involved in sc2. THanks for such an awesome song, not only is it fucking awesome but the video is so well made and gets me choked up T.T

I know what you mean This song is obviously about SC2 but it is more than just that it is a positive message about any activity you do, we can all and should all strive to be Grand Master and most of us will not achieve that but we will have fun trying.
Just played this at a party. Even though no one playes SC2 everyone started to sing along after the first chorus. Just shows how awesome this song is Just wanted to bump with this.
