Can't type korean in SC2, right alt doesn't work

I have installed the Korean IME keyboard in Windows (Vista x64) and it works correctly. I can easily switch between hangul and arabic by either clicking the A button or just pressing right alt to toggle, but this doesn't work in SC2.

I know every application on windows keeps it's input language saved, so I have to change it again to Korean IME by left alt + shift, but even when I do that, the right alt still doesn't toggle to hangul.

I tried to put SC2 in windowed mode so I can see the A icon, and it doesn't change. Even worse, the A button is somehow highlighted when I have the SC2 window active

However when I'm out of SC2, I can easily switch to hangul

Any thoughts? I'm using Razer Blackwidow keyboard if that's of any relevance.

It doesn't turn into ?????????????, it just keeps on typing english, that's a completely different problem.

looks like you need to go to control panel -> language settings -> change EVERYTHING to korean, my guess is your Unicode isn't set on korean atm. If not then i'm not sure sorry, hope you figure it out.

Did anyone find a solution to this? I'm having same exact problem as the OP. Also using Vista 64bit; the only difference is that I am using Razer Marauder instead of the Blackwidow.

edit: I seem to have fixed my issue, I'm just not sure how

I'm having the exact opposite problem. When I type in starcraft 2, i type korean. And I don't know why. I type normally out of game <as you can see> but in game I type korean. It sorta funny in matchmaking, but plain annoying when you try to talk to your friends.

Hi. Could it be you are simply not pressing (left) alt + shift after you press enter?

example:
enter brings up chat log, then press alt + shift to switch into korean(or language of your choice) or back to english
then hit enter to broadcast your message .

you should see the letter A or symbol of your language in the chat command window on the right.
