Good luck with all your future tournaments, events and endeavours Incontrol, I’m sure your commitment will pay off.

WHY INCONTROL

Whose going to replace him? I didn't realize casting took up so much of his time, I mean... Go - Cast - Go home and continue practicing right?
Yesterday's the past and tomorrow's the future. Today is a gift - which is why they call it the present

Classic mistake in any proffesional work by outsiders...

Im gonna be a teacher and the people also go like 8am go there - teach untill 2pm - go home

There is sooo much running in the background that one cant see

Definitely gonna be happy to see Geoff competing rather than casting, though I will miss his casting... alot.

Damn, I really loved the awkwardness Incontrol and Gretorp brought to the NASL Casts!!! Oh well, good luck to incontrol in full time competing! Gretorp and xeris were fine, moletrap and diggity were pretty good, I'd love to see some day9 + gretorp though.

Love Diggity so much, don't think he's got the time for full time though.

InControl and the rest of the Americans really need to step it up and represent the U.S. around the world. I remember back in the latest MLG Idra was our only hope but he couldn't quite pull it through. We need a strong group of American players who actually win tournaments versus Koreans. Sure, this has happened before, but there have been no real wins in the last few 'big' tournaments like MLG and DreamHack to which Koreans have come to play at. Good luck to InControl I hope he can set his mind to things and stop being a stupid noob (meant to be encouraging, calm down people).

To people saying "It doesn't take up much of his time", I'm afraid that's just ignorant. djWheat made a post a while ago expressing how free time is so important to casters and players a like...

I'm pretty sure at some points inControl has been casting for 12 hours + some days (correct me if I'm wrong but I remember him saying this at some point) .

Good luck inControl, sir Looking forward to you slamming IdrA's face into a wall. (a bad metaphor for you surpassing him in skill)

Diggity and Moletrap have been my least liked casting duo that I've heard anywhere for months now :/

I'm nowhere near as fussy as most TL netizens seem to be about miscalling battles and the like, because I think it's just something that happens.

But when they're commenting on something Protoss (that I play) too often I'm going "no! no! that's just not true, or completely bollocks!" and indeed that's how it turns out. I'm sure it must happen to Terran/Zerg too :x

I'm really happy to see incontrol move away from NASL. I love him as a player and i can see him doing really well with a more hardcore practice regime

NASL casting takes up a lot of time. Matches start at noon, and can last anywhere from 3-6 hours depending on game length. On top of that, there's about 1-2 hours of work for preshow, and about 30mins - 1 hour for post-game. Add in other work that gets done around the studio and they're working full days just doing this.

Working full time drains you and makes it difficult to practice when you finally do get home

Shame that he'll be gone from the NASL, he and Gretorp were becoming a really solid casting pair. Then again I look forward to him upping his game in the EG house. That'll help put NA pros on a higher level.

It's tough to see him go, as we was my favorite NASL caster. But now maybe he'll do better in big tournaments like MLG, and I'll be rooting for him there! GL Geoff!

NO !
First State of The Game then NASL casting

incontrol is one of the few pros who is very at ease with expressing himself.
Plus who doesnt love the guy's humour ?

Pretty sad to hear that but if it's for the good cause of being better at the game.
I'll definitely miss the incontrol/gretorp casts which were good.

you better win that season 2 geoff !

It's sad that he's leaving but I totally respect and accept his decision, I really want Geoff to do good in upcoming tournaments and if he feels that this is what he has to do i wish him nothing but the best!

And yes everybody loves Geoff's comedic inputs, I mean.. horses?!

why not husky? he lives in LA and hes almost got 500k subs on youtube now. perfect hype caster to go with gretorp.

I don't think I'd ever watch the nasl with sound on if they hired Husky ~_~

Yeah, troll as much as you want, but Husky would probably decline since he'd make a lot more money on his Youtube videos.

Sorry to inform you but a troll isn't someone whose opinion differs from yours

It'll be interesting to see how well iNcontrol will do in future tournaments. He probably has lots of untapped potential.
