Biggest prize pool outside of TI ever in the game, first Chinese event with international qualifiers, flights paid for international teams to China. Not big enough news?

Were you able to figure out how to use the "Save link" option? And what does "downloaded period before" mean? No this is not a feature on mobile iOS, afaik. It has to be saved to desktop, moved into itunes on desktop, and then synced to phone. I meant I did not realize the episode could be downloaded in any form prior to reading this thread.

It allows you to download files via safari on ios.

There's no download manager for mobile Safari. There is a non-authorized jailbreak version which costs $5, which you can access if you jailbreak (hack) your phone. In the end I found a separate app called downloads lite, to do the job. It works like a normal download manager and I can play from its library. However....with this new app I still have to browse this thread with mobile safari in full mode (hard to see, need lots of zooming and moving around), find the post with the file and download it. I cannot use the team liquid app because it is very buggy, often crashes and the search function does not work and usually induces a crash. Using itunes again would still be simpler and better. I hope they go back to it. I cannot be the only person who uses an iphone/pod/pad on these forums.

Just search for it on the forums and download it to my phone. You can do it in pretty much any wifi area, so it's a decent way to get the mp3. You may think it's a hassle, but you'll get used to it.

Indeed there are greater problems in life. I do want to make a note to whoever is on the technical side of team liquid: The iPhone app has not worked for iPhone5 for about a week. It just crashes every time. Any chance this will be fixed?

The Tech Support forum or Website Feedback forum might be the best places to post about the problems you might be having with the app. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/index.php?show_part=46 http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/index.php?show_part=7

Anyways, I'll give my opinion on what WHEAT is throwing out right now. If I had to rank competitive games on ease of viewing, it would probably be: 1) CoD-style FPS 2) Street Fighter and other similar fighting games 3) Quake-style FPS 4) Marvel 5) SC2 6) Dota 2 and LoL There's no fucking way LoL is anywhere near the top for a new, casual viewer.

I would disagree with you. I think SC 2 is really really simple to get because you can clearly tell that there is a big battle. And heck Terran units look like real life millitary. And you can clearly see who is winning. COD you may not be able to tell who is winning at first and heck you may not be able to follow it as easily. SC 2 you can clearly see that the goal of the game is to build a big army by getting money and killing the bad guy. I will admit though the idea of FPS is pretty simple so I would put it second. Dota 2 and LoL are pretty confusing, you don't know who did what and why they did it unless you play them. But with that said I think after watching a few matches you can figure it out. Fighters are easy you have player 1 vs player 2 and whoever does the most damage wins basically. 1. RTS 2. FPS 3.Fighter 4.Moba

I understand that in American football there are two teams and a ball. This is not enough for me to enjoy it. You need to know more about SC2 than 'there are 2 armies' to enjoy it. While a fighting game or an fps game you can enjoy with very limited knowledge. ~ If they did this survey I'd bet money on the results being 1. Fighters. 2. FPS. 3. RTS. 4. Dota games. ~ But then beyond that you need to look at the visual design of the games themselves. CS 1.6 is much easier to follow than CS:GO because the maps are very clean and the distinction between T and CT is unmissable. And there are several RTS games which are very hard to make out what's going on even if it is just 2 armies. And Dota 2 is much easier to follow than Dota 1 again because of visual design. And some fighting games (like marvel) is impossible to follow for me at least. Conclusion: It's more about games than genres.
