So many question yet so many easy answer.

Lets break it down for you guys,

SASE - Going to korea trought (win road to korea tournament over Naniwa)

Naniwa - Thorzain - Fenix (MLG Columbus top 3 Foreigner that ACCEPTED the invite, we can say that Idra, Haypro, Ret and Slush declined wich make sense since they already said they would do so beside Slush who did not say a word about that subject)

Sheth - Will be in Korea to participate in the GSTL for FXO, I dont know the exact deal that was made but looking at GSL effort to bring non korean into the tournament, and looking at FXO effort to get their team to participate in the GSTL, a deal could have been made.

Their you go

Fenix will be the first latino to compete in a top SC2 tournament (by top I mean major Korean).

Go fenix!

We know Sheth couldn't attend the qualifiers on the 19th, so maybe because of that?

Also, then how did Sheth get in? Through the BYOC in dreamhack or something?

1. Haypro definitely got an invite directly into Code A once. Didn't go so well. Can't remember if Ret got one... (also HuK got one)

2. Sheth is going to be in Korea at the right time. Couldn't make Code A Qualifiers. Has a huge foreigner following and it's probably a bit of a token gift to FXO for sending their whole team to Korea.

Ret, Huk, Haypro, and Moonglade all got Code A invites into the GSL March Code A tournament. Haypro lost to Ganzi, and Ret lost to MMA. Considering how Ganzi and MMA are pretty good nowadays, it's unfortunate that Haypro and Ret left Korea before showing better results.

Anyways, it's interesting to see GSL still having direct foreigner invites, especially in this Sheth case. It is unfortunate that he must play against San during the first round.

Anyways, I hope Sheth survives Code A so that we can get at least 4 foreigners in GSL August.

Sheth is in GSL July's Code A

Fenix, Sase, Naniwa, Thorzain are in Code A for August

Naniwa/Thorzain/Fenix are the 3 from MLG, Sase is from Rode to Korea, sheth probably just because they wanted a foreigner in july as well?

Wow!! Fenix!! This is awesome!! More non-koreans finally!! This GSL -> MLG and MLG -> GSL exchange program is just awesome!!
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

Thanks

mpupu answered what i was looking for though, didn't know that Haypro and Ret came back from Korea.
So I guess Slush turned it down?

@eviltomahawk

Oh, i forgot they were invited instead of qualified.
Yeah, that sucks that Ret and Haypro got MMA and Ganzi, rofl. Since MMA and Ganzi were pretty unknown at the time, it probably discouraged them a lot more than otherwise.

I guess it depends when they arrive in Korea, the sooner they'll be there the greatest their chances will be. Thorzain and Naniwa at 100% can definitely take down a low code A player in a bo3, Fenix is inconsistent so it would depend of his shape imo, idk for Sase, i'm almost sure he could win a PvP against almost everyone, for both others MU it's probably dependant of its training aswell.

Otherwise, does SaSe got a spot into code A ? The others have invite ok, np, but SaSe may have to go through the quali (couldn't really follow the Road to Korea sry).

How does this actually work, I mean do they just throw out some random Korean that is in code A to replace him with a foreigner?
