hmm... i traded GuineaPig for GuMiho, but i'm having a hard time deciding what to do for my second trade:

HuK > Lots
Don't know much about Lots, but he is a leadoff, and it seems like oGs is never going to play HuK...

imHappy > Byun
I think Byun could get at least a couple of kills, and IM isnt playing this week

Slayers > Fou
Fou is most like going to win at least 4-2, but i think Slayers will win as well, and I am keeping my points high then.

What do you guys think?

MVP will never win by more than 4-2 or 4-3. They just aren't very strong besides DRG. At the absolute most, you're looking at 4 + 4 + 4 points from MVP. And most likely, it will be something around 8 points in total.

On the other hand, who is going to stop GuMiho from aking this week? Oz? I doubt he can beat GuMiho... which means fOu will get you 8 points in just this week...

Of course if you make the trade and fOu doesn't 4-0, the trade will probably backfire. But it seems like it will be worth it to me.

Yeah, the problem is that the schedule is bad for FOU after that, and FOU has a very low team value so I won't be able to trade them (or perhaps for FU ?) If FOU AK FXO, how much FOU's price will increase ?

Fou Our Utopia vs ZeNEX the problem is here...FOU a little weak vs protoss, it could go very bad (but also go well)
F.United vs Most Valuable Player

Speaking of team trades, I am wondering if there's an optimal point where jumping off to F.United will be worthwhile. Since F.United is at an extremely cheap tradevalue of 5, it is theoretically possibly to jump from a reasonable team's last week straight to F.United after week 5.

If Nada would've lost vs Keen I'm 99% sure they would've sent out Huk next that game. Pretty sure we'll see Huk play.

Yes! GuMiho! Glad it payed off I didn't trade him for TheStc last week. What sucks, though, is that I thought I had the perfect anti-team now, with Sheth gone and FruitDealer and Trickster without a team, and now they're both still on one of the teams that has a whole lot of games left to play. -.-

Dammit, why couldn't FXO pick them up.

Is there a way to change the captain? Seems like putting my hopes in Sheth was a really bad idea.

Nope, that's kinda the point of a captain. Sheth definitely not a good choice.

signups already ended, GSTL season is already 3 weeks in. you'll have to wait till next season

There's 10 weeks of group play, last of which ends on first week of September. Then there's play offs. If they continue the system of syncing GSTL and GSL in parallel, I would guess season 2 would start in mid-late Octorber.

Here is what I think I'm gonna do.
GuineaPig for GuMiho
Jjakji for July

Since fOu will win they will be > 5 trade value so I can get F.United as my team on week six. Yes I know they aren't likely to score big points but fOu would only have 2 games left so it's still the best option for me.

Next week I can trade TheStc for Tassadar who is a beast, and trade Sage to pick up Naniwa. The only exception is if I could get whoever IM is starter vs FXO that week instead of getting Tassadar, but I already have YoungHwa and Happy so I might not even have to trade for that!

This will leave me with
DRG
Puzzle
GuMiho
Happy
Younghwa
Tassadar
Naniwa

for the last 5 weeks of group play. I don't think I'll be needing too much trading after that point other than phasing out players that have only 1 game left before they become value 0.

Do you guys think Alicia for GuMiho is a good trade? I don't want to trade Alicia but Alicia/PuMa are my only players with high enough value, and if GuMiho picks up a potential all-kill I will be left in the dust (I'm rank #10 atm). I don't really expect Alicia to rack up a ton of kills on TSL.

It seems like a reasonable trade. Since both slayers and fou are playing this week, depends on the results you may able to switch back to Alicia before week 6.

I'm liking my position at the moment. Nobody above me has MC, so I just need him to come through big when he gets back to Korea. Hopefully the rest of OGS continues to struggle.

Wish I could pick up Thorzain with someone besides DRG though, probably should have gotten him last week. My Revival->STC trade hurt a lot.
