Price is steeper, but you get thirty more matches and get to see F.United with Thorzain/Naniwa and FXO. Thorzain said he wouldn't be playing for F.United, maybe for some Korean team though.. He's going over there in any case, so should be fun! I don't mind paying for the GSL, and I still think the $ per game ratio is pretty good. However, they would be better served having an auto-renewed monthly subscription, much like that of the NFL, and other online sportsstreams. At the end of the day, no one is forcing anyone to buy these subscriptions, so if you do not like the prize of one tournament, watch it live or don't bother, or go watch a different one instead! There, I just solved the internet Thought it was resolved and he is playing for them now. Yes, he is playing for F.United. The thing was that he was not allowed(?) to play for WeMade FOX by mouz.

to me it matters who are the casters for most of the time in this GSTL season? do i maybe have to watch a casterduo which i dont even wanna see?

You guys are comparing to the old teamleagues. But if you compare it to the normal GSL League you pay $10 for approx. 2-3 weeks of games. So 2.5 seasons of GSL or 25 days of team league ...
|
This thread shows that people will complain about anything. Will buy the ticket and I am really happy that they changed the team league format.
|
get a few friends, setup a paypal account chip in some cash to split the cost.

I've supported GOM a long time now, but I think I'll pass on this GSTL.
|
I haven't bought any tickets so far, just watching what I can live.
That being said, 25 dollars does not seem unreasonable for the GSTL. It has by far been the most entertaining part of the GSL series for me. The stories, the tension and the unbelievably great games would make this totally worth it, if I had 25 dollars to spare.
|
the amount of content for its cost seems reasonable, although because of the new format it doesn't at first
GSTL has always been the best tournament as well and when I consider going an entire 2 months and a half without any GSL makes me anxious

maybe for you it's fine but not over here in NZ. occasionally i can stream HD but usually its quite bad. plus have you watched IPL? TSL? NASL? hell even MLG? their standard stream is leaps and bounds beyond the GOMtv's standard stream. on the standard stream i cant even make out the supply numbers. the HD stream is the equivalent of the 480p stream for most other leagues. and it lags more.

GSL was 6 days a week of games, this is only 2.

I thought Xeris cleared this up. The S1 ticket covers the finals too.

I'm in NZ. It works completely fine for me. It's your internet connection, don't blame GOM.

You guys are comparing online streams with live television?

That's abit much don't you think GOM.

if you support e-sports, you would buy it regardless...

I'm going to buy it. I would actually have no complaint if the GSL was $15, then it would feel about right.
