I am a pretty casual viewer, I have paid for several leagues in the past and only watched maybe 25% of the games broadcast. For me I've typically signed up on impulse. I say to myself "I want to watch this match right now" so I just pay $10 or $20. Then once I pay I usually go back and watch a few others, usually just the players that I'm interested in.

So just now I was interested in watching some of the games that FXO played in the GSTL. I was all set to pay $10 or $20 for the membership. But $40 is too much for an impulse buy for me! Sorry GOMTV, I'm passing on this until you drop the price.

i bought it + ticket for regular gsl season, its just so many hours of entertainment i dont really see how you can whine about it.

I didn't pay for this one. Not because I think the 25 is too much, but I can't afford it in my current state. As a college student that lives paycheck to paycheck, 25 is too much upfront. Sad, yes, but I only have a couple hundred dollars.

To be honest, I don't usually bother with the GSTL. I dunno why, just never got into it. I do, however, spring for the regular GSL seasons ($10... yes please!)

I'll just copy my post from another newer thread about this subject....

Last time you paid $5 for 7 matches. This time you pay $25 for 35 matches.... lets do the math shall we?

5/7 = $0.71* per match

25/35 = $0.71* per match

would you believe it...... you are paying the exact same amount!!!!!

*rounded to nearest cent its actually $0.7142857142857143 per match

I paid for the season, 10$, but 25$ is too much for me. I understand that I get the same for my money, sure, but I just wont pay 25$ at a time because I probably won't watch more than 20-30% of the actual matches. I'm sure some at least have the same ''excuse'' as me.
