I think people don't get it. MLG knows how f'd up Dallas was. Why do people just think they aren't going to do anything about it? I talked to MLG Lee at the CES Invitational and he basically said they are going to have it right. I could see how bothered he was from Dallas. They won't make the same mistakes again.

I also think they should not charge for the streams, its not that i think the price is unreasonable just that most people who watch are most likely students and it isnt often i would get to watch an entire tournament either. Obviously its nice that players can earn such big prizes now, but would they stop playing these tournaments if it were less? Dreamhack for me is the pinnacle and that is free, most revenue is from sponsors anyway not ads.

Every MLG I've watched has had it's problems. Dallas was just the most destructive. I don't know if MLG can actually do anything about it given the internet quality at the venues. It isn't necessarily their fault, but I'm not going to buy an HD pass and hardly get to see any games on a poor, poor schedule.

I am not planning to buy one. That said, if they actually start streaming on time without hiccup for a few hours, I will be supporting them in buying late Friday. I just do not see it happening. They really need a satellite truck, and they really could use LAN settings for SC2 . Only then would this all be a non-issue and we would be happy as could be.

Maybe because every MLG with SC2 had problems.
And every time they said that next time they will get everything right.

MLG has something to prove. I am sure they will, but until that time comes I think that its best to keep to the free stream.

However I will be attending Cbus. I hope I do not hear word of the stream going bad.

I'm still really skeptical due to the technical issues in Dallas. If there aren't any major issues, this could shape up to be the best tournament to date.

MLG HD pass wasn't the only premium stream to have difficulties. I have been dissapointed in nearly every premium pass i've seen offered. wouldn't surprise me if MLG had difficulties again this year. it's a waste of money i'll just watch a free stream

You need another option on this pole for folks who bought one for Dallas and so have a free pass now, the real question will be for the following MLG (can't remember the location).

Depending on the performance I get with my free HD pass from Dallas/Columbus I will probably get the HD pass again to support the organization and western esports.

No way with the way Dallas was run. If this one goes smooth 100% without any problems I might consider buying a pass for the next one, otherwise no way.

I will not buy one because of the past (and not just the last MLG). But if this one is awesome and without problems and they keep that quality for the next one I might consider getting a HQ pass although they do earn money of free users through commercials which I have no problems watching (especially since they are all so wacky and fun :D)

Every single MLG so far has been plagued by delays, technical difficulties, etc. So no, I won't buy a HD pass untill after they've had like 3 tournaments without problems.
