Every MLG or at least for the last 2 years....the stream i want to watch is delayed 2 hours and i have to watch the doctor tell me about Dr. Pepper. If they fix it this time though (HUGE HOPES with GOM saying yes to them). Sundance knows shit was wrong, he's not dumb to fix it. High hopes!!!!!

The additions MLG making is a step in the right direction, but none of it matters if they do not resolve their stream issues. I have tuned in to 4 MLG events and all of them had issues/delays related to streaming.

I do think MLG is serious about making SC2 their #1 e-sport promotion, but I need to be convinced I can actually watch what I buy before I consider giving them any of my money.

I will probably buy it, but 25$ for a 3 day event is much
NASL pass is the same price but for 10 weeks of sc2
25$ is also 2x GSL Code A & S + 1 GSTL

Would be nice if the didn't milk it like that
Anyway, hoping for a good weekend, hd all the way.

HD pass is 10 dollars yo!

25$ to be there live for 3 days with free food/drinks.

Damn you are actually right, doublechecked previous purcheses ;/
damn you mlg for tricking me :D:D

I think you tricked yourself lol, oh well gg.

Who me?

Nope, just your friendly neighbourhood Spidey!

Nah in all serious no relation whatsoever, just wanted to see how the community would react to what MLG has been doing in terms up upping there product / service quality.

I wish I could watch the HD stream without any problems but the HD stream causes problem for my internet connection. I can watch NASL 720p live and TSL and everything else but the HD MLG stream is too much, my room mates complained a lot when I tried the MLG Dallas HD stream thats why I opted for a refund instead of an free MLG Columbus pass.

As soon as my internet connection supports it or the MLG stream is not causing any problems with my connection I will buy an HD pass.

I think this is happening because of the octoshape client? I believe they still use it. One of the reasons is because it was tailored for a different purchase but it was hard to get them to reshape octoshape to the specifications they wanted. Now it has a bad rep. But for quite a lot of people it works fine. The reason for this is that the octoshape works with p2p and will use a lot of your upload.
What I would recommend is getting a program with which you can limit your overall computer or per program bandwidth and tweaking the upload to a normal value that way.
I take it your roommate might be a gamer as well or something? Gets him killed on the lagspikes or something
Keep in mind, I'm not 100% on the above but I believe in the past this has been talked about, if it would allow you to enjoy the event in all it's glory seems like it would be worth a try.

As long as it involves Octoshape, I will never, ever purchase an MLG pass. Should have included an option about not being able to tolerate Octoshape.
You should not have to pay to watch the GSL, Proleague, or OSL at a reasonable time. That is not "fine" and it's BS to say otherwise. My sig since 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/dabom88

That's such a fucking ungrateful attitude to have.

ungrateful to expect professionalism (quality + consistency)? lol...

I don't really find it worth it to buy a pass compared to what the GSL offers for the same price, the free stream is enough for me.

I most likely will if i am able to be home and watch it, i pay for pretty much every league because most all of it is chump change in the big scheme of things. 10 dollars would be what a 20 minute meal at mcDonalds vs tastosis, day9 etc.

Everyone wants to support esports but nobody wants to drop 10 dollars every time a tournament rolls around, so im not surprised by so many no responses.

Lol, no way im buying. Their history is terrible, they're never on time, they don't inform the audience about anything, the events have generally been very unprofessional in the past. They have a lot to prove I think before people will start paying again in numbers.

and those patrons have still stuck with MLG for 8 years.

The guys who handled the Royal wedding are handling the streaming for MLG btw.

No idea why pay for a pass when there's so many streams offering better quality and stability for free *cough TSL cough*

especially with the past history of stream problems they've had, not just Dallas, although Dallas took the cake on so many different levels it was borderline hilarious.

Only positive thing I can tell of them is that they got good casters in there usually.

I think people are abit too butthurt over dallas, I was up in flames during the event itself. But they've handeld it pretty cool since then. And with the "Free coloumbus pass for dallas buyers" I'm all set!

Granted, if they mess this up, that's it I guess. I'd rather hype myself up and have a great time, and maaaaybe be disapointed. Instead of assuming it's going to be horrible.
