Great, great news. Note that placing well at MLG now means you can earn a spot for an all expense paid trip to compete at GSL in Korea for a MONTH.

the competition just got so much harder for foreigners at MLG, but so glad to see an avenue for fair competition between koreans and foreigners!

When the exchange between the foreign and korean community continues like this, maybe it will be possible to have some koreans on foreign teams.

This is such an awesome idea. I love how these super-duper league's have managed to organize and involve themselves in each other like this. It's such a good thing for SC2, E-sports and its sponsors. Honestly, a huge well done.

The only thing I would like to know now, is what MLG has done or will do up to the next live event regarding streaming (will there be no MLG Dallas f**k up, more games instead of "Will be back momentarily, ect.)

I am genuinely interested, I bought a pass for mlg dallas and if the streaming gets better, I will buy one for the next event.

Hope someone at MLG responds.

Wow, that gives winning an mlg an even greater prestige. I bet naniwa bites his ass that this partnership wasn´t in place for dallas but now he´ll probably be even more hungry for his second mlg championship.

Getting into code S is probably harder then falling out and just going to korea to try to qualify for code A is quite a big risk.

Also was the question on how the code S seed be give already answered?

i think this is really good news, i just hope that mlg is treating the koreans good with some korean translator and shit so that they dont feel on these kind of "big lans". hope it all goes well and everyone is happy.

I'm wondering how the GSL format will change with this. There's no way they can control how many of their foreigner invites will be able to keep their Code S/Code A spots. Not to mention how many foreigners decide to leave their Code S/Code A spot versus how many decide to stay and compete for another season.

It probably won't be a problem for Code A spots since they can easily change the Code B brackets but it could be problematic for Code S since it can affect the amount of Up and Down matches available.
