will say a lot of about which team sponsors see value in SC2 e-sports and and are willing to expand beyond just South Korea MLG Columbus payout structure certainly isn't good enough to risk the cost of flight & room and board

So excited. !!!!!! More of this please. Also i'm interested in how they all go in the MLG format. If we assume open bracket like Naniwa's win, then they have to go through a crazy amount of games to win, which is super awesome. GSL you don't get a hell of a lot of games, and the preparation factor is another neat difference between MLG and GSL which could be hugely important. I really feel this is the optimal format for a big money SC2 event. IM SO EXCITED TASTELESS.

I hope this will draw some strong Korean players over. I'm not certain what to expect though, since it would cost more to come over than the reward for winning the tournament.

I had missed it, and I guess a lot of us had, but it was already out there for those who managed to catch it. Twitter link: http://twitter.com/#!/MLG_Sundance/status/66466392462991360 He responds to someone asking about Korean players at Columbus in the link above. Edit: I want to give credit to both Chobopeon and Adebisi for humbling me with this twitter link shortly after I posted the article.

Sundance later tweeted and confirmed Tastosis at Columbus and 4 special guests from Asia, Which i would assume the korean pro players. http://twitter.com/#!/MLGSundance/status/66539653297217536
