Sweden, Ukraine, Germany, Canada, France, South Korea and the USA in no particular order are given participants in such a tournament, one more country would be needed though for 8 teams. I just don't know enough about other sc2 countries I mean I know chinese and taiwanese and brittish sc2 players but for those countries I just know 1 or 2 names and I don't know which eight country would be able to field a full team of relatively even players.

But with the foreigner SC2 scene growing by leaps and bounds, a legitimate question arises: Which foreigner nation can field the best pro lineup? This used to be brought up on a bi-weekly basis when all we had was SC:BW. Hell, we used to have a ton of Nation Wars. Back then super powers included everything from Germany, China, Poland, etc. It will constantly change. I'm sure everyone is willing to say Sweden has stepped up to plate once again as the DH when in reality it could be any given Sunday. It's okay, Sweden can be the flavor of the week/month/whatever you want to call it. There are plenty of countries in the wings though.

Edit: Wait Select is Korean ![]() The US has far more players in the Top 100 ELO in TLPD than Sweden. ThorZain and Naniwa are killing it right now, but MorroW is not what he used to be, and Sjow is no better than [insert random NA player here] in his current form right now. Sheth, IdrA, Kawaiirice, Tyler, qxc, Response; but Sweden has others like Sase as well. The real 'numbers' country is Canada, afaik they have the most players in the Top 100 ELO atm, but no real superstar. As for my opinion, I think China, Ukraine, USA, Sweden, Canada, and Germany are the top countries.

A "nation wars" would be an awesome tournament; more so than EU vs NA :p
