unupgraded Ling vs zealot battle should be 3 lings beat a zealot, not 4 lings (buff ling damage or attack speed)
I would want to see hydras as a tier 3 unit that isnt super slow off creep and roach should have a tier 2 lurker morph with a tier 3 range upgrade for that 9 range or become zergs "dragoons".
I want to see Queens included as a unit to be made from larvae but keep the hatchery spawn and two mutations that makes them become stronger and better as you upgrade between lair(speed upgrade and a +energy on spawn) and hive(damage or armor upgrade) so that while zerg hatcheries might be tied to the queen, those queens can also serve other purposes as cost effective combat units once lategame hits.
i want to see mutalisk able to mutate to broodlord and the corruptor become more versatile..
But ultimately they probably wont do any of that. i just dont want to see them add the lurker and call it a days work. This is blizzard and i hold them to a higher standard. ;P

will they reveal new units that could find their way into the multiplayer-mode?

Why should 75 minerals beat 100 without micro?

Why would you want a tier 1 unit at tier 3? They're already bad at tier 2.
Also now that you mention it, instead of morphong broodlords from mutas, I want the guardian back. Spawning broodlings doesn't warrant its cost increase IMO.

It seriously needs to introduce an unit that isn't just amove.

because races are different and the zerg has already spent 100 minerals on 4 zerglings. 4 zealots with their backs towards the wall or guarding a choke can hold ALOT more zerglings than they should because of this scewered ratio that blizzard made for sc2.

logic? its just a wishlist :S. Mutas would have a lategame use outside of harassment, Hydras and roaches could both be shooting up and not overlap (roach as tier 1 AA hydra as tier 3 AA), queens as a multipurpose high hp combat unit with the morphs they promoted in early reveals of wings of liberty (queen got nerfed heavily since then). I can see why you would be confused but its just tidbits ive picked up and feel would improve zerg for me.
(WOULD NEVER LOOSE A GAME AGAIN LOL OP HAHAHA).

Did corsairs ever do this in SCBW?... cmon dood.

thats silly, phenixes can negate 6-8 special units from a battlefield (siege tanks, ghosts, etc) and work alot better than the mutalisk in smaller numbers when directly supporting an army. id say that gives them more purpose for equal supply. Id just like for mutas to have some utility once lategame hits so you dont have to suicide them to replenish with corruptor and then mutate into a broodlord. Its perfect wishlist logic. Mutas also did this in broodwar btw ;P

guys, isn't this a single player thread about the campaign of hots? ._.

"Lets go, Great fleet!" *dies to stimmed marines*

wow that would be evil if 3 lings could beat up 1 zealot easy (they can alreay so). I mean 2 lings beat up a marine badly. Anyway i hope they make the t1 marine that way that he can fight even with 2 lings (atleast 1 ling lost unmicroed ;o ) and that 2 marines can fight 1 zealot without micro. Because protoss units have always costed more for less ?
Hehe funny posts all around here. I would love if they troll zergs and only add units for terran and toss in mulitplayer, and then 1 week later add the zerg units in a sneak patch zergs deserve this.
Anyway when there are infos people will make 3 new threads anyway so I'll just wait for those >.<

I mean the only thing that kept Protoss from just massing goons versus lurkers was DS, I just can't see lurkers being useful without DS--the only thing new for Zerg they bring to the table is a better detection threat versus the other races.
I understand why people miss the awesome power of the lurker, but I think they fail to realize that the context of SC2 is different from Brood War; just because it was good in Brood War doesn't mean it will be good in Starcraft II.

Indeed, people are looking at some of the older units with Rose-tinted glasses and failing to realize how they would actually fit in Starcraft 2 as it is now.

How is it bad that 2 ling can beat one marine if 50 marines beat 100 lings?

this is in low numbers, when that number grows the number of zerglings you will need to beat balls of the opposite units starts to grow (and the ratio always favours protoss or terran because of range or better efficiency or in laymans therms hp / damage per unit).
Its been mentioned since sc2 came out that sc2 lings are not broodwar lings. It is quite obvious that to be more effective in the later stages that they should be, but they are not and thats why you see baneling balls rollin and those are one time use only :/
