But it feels even worse to be on a losing streak. When I'm not doing well, aka not above 50/50 for the today, every ladder match makes me feel a bit more :/

If I could see my MMR, or have some unranked ladder (like a queue, not just asking ppl to play) I'd be so much more likely to play 25-30 games a day, instead of my usual 10-20.

i used to be mildly anxious when i played only a couple of games a day or i havn't played for a while and was anxious about my skill just disappearing overnight. I've found it completly disappeares the more games i play where it's got to the point where i actively look forward to getting on win or loose. I would make the assumpion on my exsperience that the people that are nervous and are answering yes i can hardly press the look for match button without sweating are the players who don't play alot of games day in day out and the best cure for them is just to mass games i can guarantee you will stop fealing nervous when you've pressed that button 50 times today and the worlds not imploded

But I have it like this, if I win I feel like I've done my job and I'm hesitating to search for another game. Whenever I lose I'm instantly up to click the button again, because I just don't feel satisfied. I might go on a tilt and continue into the late night to get that win. I once went through 9 losses from 10pm to 1am during a test week, and went to sleep at 1:15 AM, really sad, disappointed and mad. Then after 10 minutes I jumped out from my bed, turned my PC on again and went for 1 more game, which I won. My opponent was one league below me, but anyways, win is a win. Went to sleep with a good mood after that, haha.

I understand being nervous in tournaments since getting/not getting 20000$ will be decided by your performance. But ladder is just for fun and there is nothing to be gained or lost there.

and when i have a losing streak, i just get frustrated and keep on playing, dunno why^^ normally i stop laddering after a few games (sometimes only 1 or 2, other days maybe 5-7), but when i get frustrated i keep on playing and because im so frustrated, i just play horrible and forget about every safe macro style i normally always play and just get completely stumped into the ground lol like this i sometimes lose 15 games in a row until i realize its really bad what im doing and i have to stop it xD

It's trite to say it perhaps, but your ladder rank really doesn't matter at all :p (that's not to say you can't care about it, of course, but it still doesn't actually matter). So even tho I get annoyed at the point of losing, in general it's not in any way overwhelming enough to stop me getting back out there to stomp some more nerds. It's a pretty good game and ladder is pretty much the best way for non-pro's to experience it.
