He has always been a low tier player and to think he had some hidden potential makes a pretty sweeping statement in and of itself. I mean there's a reason why he's only on HoSeo and not, for lack of a better term, a "real" team (you would think that at least MVP would have taken him up as they seem to be the lower tier team overall). That being said, he showed very strong play overall this season and he really deserves his place. I think he will stay a mid-tier Code S player. ...Anypro on the other hand I still believe in my heart to be a very weak player who relies a lot on all-ins (his macro games are usually other players just playing worse). He still has a strong chance of beating July I think, just because July plays very volatile (much like Kyrix who was 2-0d by anypro).

(albeit torch did almost make it into code A through the most recent qualifiers) lol, how can you count ro32 twice? his ro32 in the code S january season was the result of him going out 0-2 in the first round of group stages, where there were only 32 players to begin with. that's like coming in second in a duel. Really? I am saying both players aren't that good yet Idra is praised as a top player while San is considered garbage. I am just stating a majority just follow what people tell them rather than watching the games or replays and seeing what actually happend.

Of course we have to see his PvP, his ability to transition to other styles, consistency in defending early attacks, etc. before we begin to rank him among current players. If you watched both their replays you'd know that. Placements don't mean anything without context. :/

He has improved by leaps and bounds for somebody who was considered the worst player in Code S, his PvZ and PvT is amazingly good atm, I would love him to knock out MC to make him the true king slayer and make it another new winner :D Quoting jinro: "MC doesn't lose PvP" As manly as manzenith is right now, MC is too much imo.

Yap, That's how well he was performing. Like I said before he was performing the same as Idra (both of which I said aren't that good). Yet, one is praised as a top player well the other is a jobber. Either way... If he wins GSL.... people are gonna shit bricks.

We didn't get to see marine kings macro game during his earlier runs either because he was doing what it takes to win his matches. Its so stupid to me how hard people are on people who go all-in. That guy ActionJesus from the EU scene could probably spank 99% of the people that post on these forums in a straight up macro game. When casters are hypercritical of a player it trickles down to the community. I see it here often and sometimes still do. It took MKP almost 2 full seasons of almost always fast expanding and playing macro games to shrug off the "all-in" tag people like to throw around. I swear people just watch a few games and form an opinion of a player`s style for an eternity. It was easy to figure who actually WATCHED the games in Season 3 and 4 based on comments about MKP`s play.
