I don't know what's with the complaints about the Macro-mechanic alerts.
If you have time to constantly check the left side of the screen for the little alert thingies when every produced unit, upgrade and building appears there too, go for it.
I find it easier just to tap the hotkey to see the Energy/Inject Larva progress bar.

Like, er, it's the PTR. Emphasis on the T, TEST. Isn't the point of throwing the changes out their to TEST them instead of BASHING them? Like someone said before Fungal Growth not hitting air units never made it to it the live servers.
Let's see how things pan out on the PTR first!

This is making the game easier once again and I don't think that's a good thing for competition. Someone withbetter macro should be rewarded and now everyone knows when to inject larva etc.

Anyone else unable to install the PTR? First I was getting an upgrade loop (never launched live). After trying to relaunch live I had to download something there. Now its saying PTR is offline? (can't d/l).

Now terran can just blind counter collosi every game since people will favor them. Just like they blind counter mutas with thors every game.
No more warp prism+HT at mineral lines so we will see even less warp prism play then we already do.
Way to nerf the spectator scene. Worst patch to date IMO.

well as a toss ill just be doing more and more early attacks that have nothing to do with storm its fine
Like for example, since gateway units are the shittest, most cost inefficient in the game any time after 7 minutes, it would make sense for me to use the advantage that they have which is a timing at 6:30 to win the game.
Now, if only i could remember what build that was...

Huge changes indeed... but lets see how many of them will make it into the actual game with the next patch. bunker build time has also been changed in PTR 1.2 iirc, but then blizzard changed their mind. My thoughts on the balance changes:
Mothership: justified and called for, imo. the ability to kill an arbitrary number of units with a few archons and a vortex is a bit too much.
Bunkers: as Z, i welcome the increased build time! :D though i think that changed to the bunker should rather revolve around the salvage mechanic to introduce more of a risk in bunker rushing. i would like to see some experimenting with the following: bunkers cant be salvaged while under attack (punishes aggressive bunker placement), or salvage refund is proportional to the HP left on the bunker (ensures that damage dealt to a bunker is actual damage to the T).
Stim: 30s is quite a lot, but it is a very strong upgrade an some experimentation on how this will affect T bio isnt wrong.
BCs: who gets those, anyway?
Infestor: seriously? this is a straight and potent nerf to the unit. iirc, fungal has been a projectile at various points in the beta, but was made instantaneous for a reason (as evident from the video posted above). the spell does symbolic damage at best, so the increase wont do much: a bit more then next to nothing will still be almos next to nothing, especially when offset by the generally larger health pool of armoured units. On top of that, the shorter duration will make the spell nigh-useless in the only aspect it shined in, namely immobilising units. i, for one, never saw fungal as a damage spell, and things like trapping medivacs and taking them down with IT will be much harder to the reduced duration. the increased DPS might make it so that medivacs can no longer offset the damage on marines, so that the spell can actually kill them if cast repeatedly, but again, i never saw damage as the important point in FG.

Ah, as a Z I love this infestor buff. It will do more damage over time, which allows me to win these roach v roach battles assuming my opponent have no infestors. It is also good for Bio balls since I got tired of fungal growing them and they got healed so fast by medivacs. Good patch in my opinion!
