IMBALANCED! - Introduction - Page 5

If you have criticism, you need to address the content, not the hosts. Idra and Artosis are 2 (1.5) Zerg players, but you can't point that out and then blanket them as biased. Respond to the content. You can't tell them to "get 2 Terran and Protoss players". That's fucking obtuse advice. "Yo just get 4 more high level players to record with you." Yes, I think everyone sees the value in getting it, but it's not practical. Respond to the content and use evidence / logic to back up your claims.

*Zergs dominate GSL* "You can't say Zerg are fine just because they won GSLs!" *Terrans dominate GSL* "OMG, Terran is raping GSL, look how many terrans! Clearly overpowered! There's no zerg representation!" OK Zerg users, spell it out for us. Are we, or are we not allowed to infer balance conclusions from GSLs? Because once upon a time, we weren't allowed. But now that's what you're doing. Is it because it's convenient to do so now? So transparent.

Why have noone replied to the actual content of the video? All you guys sees and hears is LOL IDRA SAID Z UP HE SUCH WHINER LOOK AT STATISTICS LOL GSL WON ZERG LOL. Why, if you are going to disagree or attack him, why is it that you are not doing something constructive, like maybe WHY he would be wrong, maybe bring some better arguments to the table.

Obviously they said that, but who do you think their audience is? They're not making this video for top players to watch. In bronze league you dont lose because of some imbalance. Thats a fact. You lose because you are not capable of controling your stuff right since the game doesnt consist of 3 races which have the same units with different names.

I think you have something wrong "zergs dominate GSL" is completely wrong. Winning GSL and dominating are completely different. GSL1, Fruitdealer didnt' even "dominate" (almost lost vs TOP) every other zerg was out by ro16 I believe? GSL2 Nestea dominated through almost the entire GSL not zergs just nestea. GSL3 again zergs didn't dominate. As far as I know zergs have never "dominated" a GSL just a zerg has won it twice, winning a GSL and dominating are completely different ^^

Except that Terrans actually are a big part of all GSLs, while Zergs won 2(where both of them had close to zero zergs in the Ro4), and Terran dominated all the Ro8s out there.

And if your still trying to say tvz favors zerg lolol the mu is actually pretty balanced imo just what makes it hard at times is all the different builds terrans can do ^^. Where in my post did I mention anything remotely close to what you just put in my mouth?

I'm so very confused where this post even came from, it boggles my mind. ZvT wasn't even a matchup that was mentioned in the video, and nobody is even talking about the GSL and... Oh man my head... Anyways, I enjoy this in depth analysis of the balance of a very young game. Understanding the thoughts of the pros is something I'm sure a lot of Team Liquiders are curious about. I look forward to more. Perhaps something involving Terrans next time? Perhaps... *Gasp* something that's OP against Terrans? Absurd I know.

Any trouble with colossus is the pheonix/colossus combo, not just colossus. Rarely do good players go pure colossus and just let all their colossus die to vikings anymore. It's like mentioning marine balance without mentioning medivacs. Kind of a worthless discussion. Obviously they said that, but who do you think their audience is? They're not making this video for top players to watch. I've been watching Trump's stream lately, and he has a very solid Thor build that works quite well against collosi. I'm no pro, so I won't talk about balance, but I've been working it into my TvP and having success. I think Thor could be the future of TvP. 250mm crush small numbers of immortals, and late game, a banshee transition into marine/thor/banshee composition helps deal with heavy immortal composition.

All j/k aside these really are like, the two most biased and proactive QQers of all starcraft players. I really like idra and artosis, and I like the concept of the show, but it would just be so much more credible and interesting if it weren't these two zerg players. Get a terran and a protoss in there to balance out the discussion. Maybe they'll even have some good advice for people who have trouble with some "imbalanced" strats. That would be way more awesome than just QQ for 30 minutes User was banned for this post.
