Hello,
In GSL Feb, which will take in February, we plan to invite 4 notable foreign players who will be given seeds to be invited to play in Code A. Which players do you feel deserve such chance? Discuss and name the players who will be worthy of receiving such seeds. Your discussion will provide valuable feedback for us and help to make more interesting GSL.
Also, for information concerning Code A preliminary and our team house, it is updated at www.gomtv.net
Thank You.

HuK should at least have a shot. I feel terrible for him arriving to only be cut short. I also believe many big Team/Clan players that have not moved over to Korea yet would stand a considerable chance, like many EG members or Optik.
Then again I'm not entirely sure; it's pretty tight for only 4 spots so the players that are chosen will really need to show something impressive in the near future if possible ~.~

Sjow, who is a great macro terran (we need some of those in the GSL ) Together with Jinro we can secure both first and second place for Sweden, go Sweden! :D BratOK, a player who have been unable to compete in large european tournament due to visa issues but is a total beast.
Edit: Ye I like Terran players

Since Tyler doesn't want to move to Korea I'll vote for HuK

White-Ra/DuckloadRa ROOTKiwiKaki or ROOTDrewbie EGGrubby or EGDeMusliM For the love of God, someone invite Nony/LiquidTyler. He's so good, yet he doesn't even get a chance to show his stuff off lately.

I believe qxc deserves this chance,he's a solid Terran player, he will put up a good show for us in the gsl, he along with jinro. Are one of the a few terrans that hardly cheese and opt for late game instead.

HuK, ROOTDrewbie, ROOTqxc, Select
|
HuK I think he may be the most successful NA player with first at MLG Raleigh, third at MLG DC and IEM NY. He also has first at online tournaments like EG masters cup
|
I'm going to second BratOK.

incontrol all the way baby

HuK, SelecT, EGDeMusliM, EGGrubby, FXOMoonGlade

Bit of a low blow to bring up Huk's height like that
Tyler, DeMuslim, Dimaga, WhiteRa would be solid contenders
Tyler has always been one of the most 'intelligent' SC players around, especially when you factor in the response he received on estro + his Courage placements. Demuslim has an absolutely sick win/loss ratio and, perhaps more notably, is one of the most successful WC3 players to switch over. Dimaga has been a top zerg since beta and White Ra has never failed to consistently rank extremely high in ladder, even if his relative tournament showings recently haven't been as incredible as others to my knowledge.

Why don't we do this, just to help out a bit with consolidating info (just because you KNOW we're gonna get a million Huk, Nony, and Select votes).
NOTE: As has been pointed out, Tyler and White-ra are married, which may influence their ability to go to Korea. Also, qxc is moving to Spain for school which may/may not effect his ability to go. Lastly, if Huk and Haypro go, TL is almost ASSURED a spot in the GSTL since they'd be that much closer to the bottom two teams, and we all know they're gonna make it

I took the most common names just to make it easier for everyone.

I would love to see some sort of tournament, perhaps online, of only foreigners to determine the 4 remaining seeds. I hope this won't just be a popularity contest =(...then again maybe this is the only way if the schedule for gomTV is too packed.
|
I vote for Spades! He's going regardless, might as well seed him
|
Huk and Select (if he's considered foreigner)
Would also love to see Dimaga, though he mentionned somewhere moving to korea is a no-go.
There isn't seriously any1 who impressed me thus far from the foreigner scene apart from those above.
€: forgot fenix, i like his playstyle and he seems super solid. and of course sen, he is beastly!
|
Dimaga, HuK and qxc definitely.
Also, naniwa.

Great to see this happening!
I agree with most of the choices thrown out so far - any of the mentioned players would be amazing to see given the chance.
I'd like to add some possible foreign zerg players to the list: DIMAGA for Europe - the only current zerg in the top 10 European ladder, and one of the few to show tournament results Machine for North America - though completely off the charts as far as the ladder is concerned, he is widely recognized as one of the, if not THE top zerg in North America (discounting IdrA since he lives in South Korea, of course), and his showing at MLG is somewhat proof of this.
There are surely more foreign zergs to be picked as well, though many are not able to put up top tournament/ladder results at this time. edit: mOOnGlaDe is an excellent choice as the top Southeast Asian zerg player as well.

HuK, Naama, BratOK, SeleCT
