And saying it would be a certain number of players like 200 is weird too. Someone would have to be demoted every time someone made it in. Anyway I have no chance of making it there just saying it'll be interested how this is implemented. | ||

When you look at the whole scheme of things that IS pretty damn high elite. Its top2% OF the top 7.84% of the players on NA. Which is basically top 0.1586% on NA edit: to give you an idea of whose part of the top 885 players I am 1693 and I am #942 Asmo (some random guy 2ranks above me in my divison) is 1758 and hes #608 So basically GM league is for ~1700+ which seems ... okay but I wouldn't mind if it was 1800+ as 1700s could use a tad more skill. | ||

since ELO ( or MMR) is not inflated by bonus pool. the condition will probably be like. higher elo than 2200 , then you are in the grandmaster league. it probably will work out to be the top 2 percent of each region anyway though. good idea nonetheless since diamond league is becoming too common and meaningless | ||

Though its probably nothing more than just a separate division. You cannot have a ladder with just 100 players. Also while this is indeed a good idea what we all really want is GLOBAL QUALIFIERS FOR GSL AND A GLOBAL TOURNAMENT. Why should koreans have all the fun ? Why can't we have an American Qualifier and a European Qualifier for GSL ? I mean, just 2 spots for each continent would suffice. | ||
