I like this alot, even tho I am miles and miles from it myself.

And I really hopes it has a "fixed" number of players, like 100 or 200 and they dont just create more divisions all the time like with diamond. One in one out is a great system for a top league. And yeah no bonus pool and a "proper" ranking system.

Does it really matter if there's a new league or not? From watching streams, the matchmaking system seems to often put top players against each other anyway, assuming they're both searching at the same time.

It's a very good idea for everyone that makes it to that league but for me or the majority of players, it won't help us figure out our overall rank so i'm indifferent.

I like the idea of a new league though I preferred the "pro league" name. The 2% per region seems like a good number of players.

Why should koreans have all the fun ? Why can't we have an American Qualifier and a European Qualifier for GSL ? I mean, just 2 spots for each continent would suffice.

They're doing that next year apparently, top 200 of each region invited into a tourney, then the top 4 from that tourney go into a big tourney

Seriously why did they change the name from pro league to "GRAND MASTER LEAGUE"? Maybe they are planning on doing an sc2 proleague in korea and don´t want people to confuse the names. Otherwhise I can´t find an excuse for that awful name.

There should be a semi-pro league above diamond, and then the grand master thing. That would stop diamond from being like a huge place where the variance in skill is so big. Semi-pro would be amazing and can cause the ladder to be more serious I guess much like Iccup.

Sounds nice, but would be much bether if they would have 2 new leagues instead of one ;
GRAND MASTER LEAGUE (2 % of diamond players, as he said) and an extra MASTER LEAGUE ( 10% of diamond players), sorta like in chess.
