Oh man I love SotG. djWHEAT was a little too serious for the environment I feel, though I like him in WoC I think SotG requires a different approach.

Can you even name 20 foreigners playing good at the moment? There's no excuses remember. 1.TLO 2.IdrA 3.Huk 4.qxc 5.Kiwikaki 6.Socke 7.Tyler? 8. Morrow? 9...........Uhhhh already getting tough And how can he get away with saying " I THRIVE at LAN enviroments " without someone laughing. Dimaga, Whitera, Select, Demuslim, Tarson, BRAT_OK, Fenix, atn_Darkforce, Ret. After that it starts to get harder, but I'm SURE im missing a bunch of people though. There's PLENTY of talented people who, if practiced 7-8 hours a day for a month could contend with koreans. The argument was if they practiced a lot, and most of them play 3-4 hours at most, unlike koreans who play 10 easily.

but IdrA did not disagree with that at all. His argument was that, very few foreigners actually practice hard ( for whaever reason, not arguing about that, we don't care) and thats why they won't be able to compete.

Well since IdrA is kinda bottom of the top level korean only those that would be a real threat to idra can be counted. 1.MorroW (best on paper) 2.TLO 3.Jinro 4.Haypro 5.huk 6.qxc 7.kiwi 8.demuslim 9.bratok 10.Fenix 11.Dimaga (not preforming well) 12. select ( but he cant tvz apparently) And pretty much after that the players will decrease in skill cuz the 12 i just mentioned win pretty much every big tourny with jinro and haypro not qualifying for gsl ( not that they are bad, but we have to be objective on some level). And now for koreans 1.FruitDealer (far more successful than idra throughout all of sc2 with same race ) 2.sSKS ( who rapes the shit outta everyone when he competes in foreign tourneys ) 3.cliiiiiiide not gunna name the rest because this post is getting to long but idra/TLO didnt get past ro32 so atleat16 players right there Then consider that the korean approach is better than foreigners. Not only that but strategically they are far ahead as well. Spunky is super smart and realizes that strategy is way more important and focuses on that and they have teammates to discuss strategy and practice with, which is obviously better than ladder. So yes incontrol is ridiculous for saying that top 20 can compare.

![]() "And now we will start the first match in K v World: Machine vs Cool! GG already, ohhhhh....." ![]() How many champagne bottles did they open during the cast, 2-3? Nice sound effects hehe... Edit: A bit silly that Huk couldnt just say that he knew that ha had lost the game when select took his natural, and then just played along with the crowd and made a mothership. Like we belive that he really thought that he could win with that tactic.

Same with SeleCT. He has a vP build that works well, and he will continue to use it until it stops working. Then he will find another build that works. HuK had a chance to watch that build being used against KiwiKaki and Tyler, and still lost to it, so I wouldn't say the only thing that is good in SeleCT's play is his build. He's a beast and I'm sure whatever build he decides to use next after this one stops working will be equally strong.

Idra plays 95% of his games with same build order, same style, it works for him, and he'll probably continue to play it as long as it works. MorroW won a major tournament with one build, once it stopped working, he moved onto another builds. Same with SeleCT.
