Beyond the technical difficulties, the production plan wasn't very good. Not worth talking about then. Yeah I guess this explains the nature of their comments...

True, I just wish the casters were aware of how boring MLG broadcasts usually are, even when the entire internet backbone doesn't crack. To put it in terms Day9 would understand, it's like you stay up all night for Shinhan Masters but instead of getting sAviOr vs. NaDa, they're showing reruns of MSL Survivor with Mumyung vs Rock with an hour of Kpop in between games. EDIT: IdrA just nailed it. <3

Unfortunately, this thread usually has a lot of people who lack common sense, so the next 12 pages will probably be people raging that they didn't sit there berating MLG for 2 hours. Those problems were inherent in the 2010 season as well. I'm not saying they aren't valid, but the major problem of this MLG was obviously the internet. Nobody wants them to berate MLG for the entire 2 hour show, but it is pretty disappointing to hear JP brush aside the fact that, from a spectator standpoint, MLG Dallas was an unmitigated disaster. Yeah, sounds like Sundance tried hard to make it work. What are we supposed to say? Better luck next time? It's at obvious moments like this when it needs to be reiterated that the four people on this show right now are not an accurate cross-section of your average TL.net and SC2 enthusiast, so you can't expect to get an opinion that approaches the consensus. I wouldn't say they are bringing sense to the masses of rage, it's more like they are predictably skirting the issue because it isn't interesting to them. I'm typing this as I'm listening to the guys on the show revel in a discussion on their favorite moments from this past weekend. Too bad nobody saw it happen.

Yeah, apparently it wasn't MLGs fault, they had no way to test the internet of the convention centre, and the MLG guys worked hard to get it fixed. Pretty much all they said.

Too bad nobody saw it happen. its disingenuous to run this show from such a MLG biased viewpoint. It was a disaster and they are completely ignoring it. If this happened to NASL, GSL, or any other organization where the hosts aren't invested/employed by MLG it might be better. After clash of the titans they did go over how horrible the production was.. nothing here. It was infinitely better than MLG. Even bullshitting about the online tournaments which no one was interested in paying 30 dollars to compete in a tournament with no money prize
