But yeah great show, always love it when Idra joins the cast!
i actually think he does have some good arguements but he doesnt always explain them in detail making it hard to understand them.

The VOD views are at like 300k aren't they? Or is that the whole views on the entire channel?
SOTG was good. Incontrol seemed a little intense at times though, but then when you have a whole section of TL hating you for no adequately explained reason I can appreciate that...people need to chill..

Apparently every Protoss in Korea goes for a stargate Build since a week or so. (Probably since Guineapigs GSL match)
Thanks,
I'll check that out.
Just trying to change the subject here ...

the CockeHorse question was one of the best parts of SOTG so far, really liked it
and Incontrol mentioning Mondragon made me all wet and happy :3

I know I'm late to the party, but WOW InControl's Finnish poem was perhaps the funniest thing I've heard all year.

Day9 laughs at EVERYTHING, hahaha.

well with incontrol being a prick and picking on artosis the whole time even though he is wrong about everything, the entire podcast kinda needs somebody to cut the ice.

What are you talking about? InControl also has good, well thought arguments. Sometimes he says them not in the right way, but this podcast i didn't find anything stupid from him.
But he had arguments of the same quality like the other players here. Stop trolling him, lol.
Keep it up ! And WoW is bad (just got 7 free days for my old account to try new old world, lol)

I normally wouldn't care but...
INcontrol is just underrated by people who don't understand about debating or arguments.
Out of all the casters, he is the one that brings the most to the show with the least bias in his arguments. When the other casters (2 of the most biased zergs I might add) try to debate him with meaningless jumbo (like how Idra said all NA zerg players are bad) what do people expect him to say back??
You can't argue a stupid argument with a smart, non-biased one, because eventually it would just all drag down to stupid.
Plus, you have to understand, the other casters know how good Incontrol is at debating, so they are naturally defensive in their answers if you pay attention...
Good show though, and keep doing your thing Incontrol..we smart ones know whats up.

I doubt anyone will read or care about my random musings on the phoenix debate, but I do wanna say one thing on the whole incontrol vs artosis/idra phoenix thing.
The air protoss strategies against zerg we've been seeing lately, are very very very new. We're talking like less than 2 weeks new. So far it looks to be quite strong. However, because it is so new no one knows if the air protoss strategy is broken or balanced or awesome or whatever. Now on top of that, we're getting a phoenix buff at such a volatile point of the game. It could break the matchup, or it could not, no one knows. But the thing is we don't even know if the current phoenix is going to be balanced or break the matchup yet. Why are we getting a phoenix buff before this strategy has even been fully explored? It could be down the line that this phoenix buff will completely break the game. Maybe it wont, but that may be because the air protoss strategies now are completely balanced. So then why did we buff the phoenix in the first place.
Then you ask, whats the harm in trying it out? Have you guys seen how Blizzard runs things. They move at a glacial pace, and they are extremely stubborn about their changes. I will bet good money that if the 45 - > 35 build time for phoenix proves to be overpowering, we will not get a simple and easy revert. We will not see any change for a while, and when they do change it, it probably wont be a 35 ->45 undo. The air protoss strategy as we see it now will be gone forever before it ever had a chance to be fully explored.
tl;dr: The air protoss strategy is so new that no one in the world is qualified to say it is balanced or unbalanced, so why are we messing with the phoenix while we're figuring it out? It's too soon to be messing with the phoenix.

Personally I think the "most NA zergs are bad" is actually a decent argument... how many Zergs on NA would even come close to making the GSL? But yeah, I know what you mean. It's not exactly the strongest argument, but that doesn't make it wrong.

Every time I download the podcast (the last two podcasts) the mp3 itself cuts out at around 1 hour 30 mins or so. Is this a common problem, or does anyone have any ideas on why this could be. Thanks.
*By cuts out I mean it will only be a ~1:30 long mp3 file.

The thing is, whether or not its true, its still a fallacious argument. You can't create a "good" argument against a fallacious argument because that argument would be "thats a fallacious argument".
The argument Idra/Artosis were going for would be along the lines of "NA zergs dont do X, Y, and Z, and so Phoenix openings are more rare/less effective/never see infestor switches" or something like that - something that could actually be argued against, if you had the data.
If your concern is actually the quality of the argument, fallacies can never be excused.
