Well he's kinda right tho, they keep saying it's going to be more regular and that they're trying to get all the hosts and stuff but soon after the show's on a month-long hiatus again.
Of course we don't pay any money and thus aren't entitled to anything, but it's a tad frustrating to get your hopes boosted by some announcement/goal they make/set themselves only to get disappointed again in the end.

They told a long time ago that soon their show will become more consistent, they will have atleast 3 shows a month, etc. None of those promises come true. Im watching inside the game these days but still.. I like good old state of the mlg... i mean game.

To be fair, if every bias point at the end of a valid point discredited said valid point, well then then most valid points would be invalid. I don't think it discredit's his point any at all, just himself :D:D:D

we talked about consistent episodes with a sponsor because that was the plan. It's taking longer than we projected because of things that keep coming up.
We have to adapt and make due.. it's time as fans/observers you do the same. If this was a boring community where new opportunities/commitments are few and far between it would be stupid for us to take this long to get together and make an episode. As it is I have traveled the last 4 weekends (moving on 5 and 6 with WCS / ASUS coming up), artosis is artosis (super busy) JP just got back from MLG. Sean moved on and Nony was moving but presumably now has time.. we will do episodes ASAP. I will also NOT stop sharing exciting things with you guys like our intentions to do fun stuff (continuous episodes etc) and sometimes for reasons outside my power those things can't happen. If "getting your hopes up" outweighs hearing me share things with you guys then stop listening to me entirely!

i generally agree with you. except he made a factual assertion that SOTG made promises, which weren't actually made--as i recall, JP said they were working on a deal with a big company and as part of the deal they would have to do 3 SOTGs a month, but that deal never went through as far as i know. however, i didn't bother to make that point in light of his self-discreditation (both this post, and his last).
i also love how everyone says something stupid and then later tries to write it off as a joke or trolling. most likely he is just flame-baiting, which based on the replies to the initial posts was a successful flame-bait.

Ive found that not waiting every week for a show, watch other things, get crushed by other noobs like myself in gold, go outside and confirm that the sun is still yellow and stuff like that. And then now and again find that a show has aired while i slept, getting me a couple of hours of fun to listen to. Makes me all smiles and no emo. (ive always been like that btw )
Stop expecting stuff to happen at your whims and dont get so very angry if you dont get a show when YOU want it. There's tuns of stuff to do anyways

Don’t sweat it, some fans are just having moments of entitled idiocy. It is awesome to hear that the sponsor thing is still in the works. It would be awesome if you guys got a little back from all the effort you put in. Plus, JP could show us how much higher you can set the bar with a little funding. I have fond memories of the daily SC2 report(Artosis Watch) and miss it every day since JP had to shut it down to make real money.(also, the thing looked like a shit ton of work) I would love if a little of that could be brought into SotG. But all of that requires time, effort and money.

i'll speak here for other people, chances are i'm completely wrong in this, but it seems to me that those "whoa i thought once a week"-posts are just an indication that people care enough about this show, because i simply cannot see some guy having a alarm set for every week to make a post saying "wtf still no new episode?". just take away from those kinds of posts that people still care enough about you all :D (i sure as hell do).
and remember:
if you see a dick on the internet, just look at him from a different angle ... most of the times there's a bright side ... then again sometimes you just see an asshole ^.^
