Ok, a pattern star emerging. The next 2 host are players, they have a little more flexibility with their schedule But.. There is tournaments, there is qualifications, there is clan wars, there is planes, there is planed practice with Koreans members of their teams and there is life in general. About planes, when your on a plane, nothing get done that day. You have to be there 3hours before you flight is supposed to leave, planes dont always leave when they are supposed too. When things are not getting done because your traveling, they have to be done an other day. The traveling remove one possible day for the show, the work that is displaced is an other thing that remove a possible show date. And when you fly somewhere, you often have to fly back. If thats in a Week, thats 3-4 less possible day.. not counting the reason of why you are flying. If you are going to an event that last for 2-3 days.. well guess what, your not going to do a show on those day either. so planes and events cut off your week by 4-7 days.. that dosent leave you too much room to make a show. Explain to me with that kind of dynamic between the host work schedule, how do you keep things on "some sort of schedule". The only schedule possible is "When we can". What you are going to tell me is "Well Wheat can". This is a good argument. What follow is an opinion, my opinion it is in no way a fact and should not be taken has such : it would be a good argument if JP and Marcus had the same kind of goal in mind, i dont think they do. Wheat is building up his One More Game brand, and a regular schedule is absolutely ESSENTIAL to do this, so he focus on this more if one of the host cant make it, the show will go on. I dont think JP is trying to do that and so he might be less willing to do a show with an incomplete line up. People bitched and moan every time day9 wasnt on the show. People bitch and moan whenever someone they expect isnt on the show, what if there is 2 missing.. +25 pages of bitching in this thread, minimum. I dont think JP is willing to sacrifice what is going to be missed if pillars are not there. If you want regular SotG show its very very very very easy. All you have to do is invent teleportation and make it safe. You will become the richest man on the planet if you dont get assassinated by corporations who deal in/with fuel/transport in the process too. This would make it easier to schedule the show because they would lose much less time in travel and also you could pay every hosts + pillars 1million dollars a year to do 53 stog episode per year because you would be swimming in money. So people who complain about the show schedule, invent teleportation asap or gtfo. | ||

I thought I would bring this up from earlier this year, since it seems to apply again. BEHOLD: THE GUIDE TO IF THERE WILL BE A STATE OF THE GAME THIS WEEK Question:Will there be State of the Game this week: Is JP at home? Yes: State of the Game is likely this week. No: Then... Is JP in NYC for MLG? Yes: Show is unlikely, due to crappy hotel internet and long hours at the office. No: Then... Is JP as one at MLG open touranment? Yes: There is no chance for a show. Are you kidding? Have you seen the maddness that is an MGL? No: Then... Is JP at his parent's house: Yes: Questionable, their internet is spotty at best(see episode from parent's house for reference) No: Then... Is JP out with his fiance for the weekend: Yes: No chance of a show. If you need a reason, we cannot help you here at TL. No: JP needs to question his priorities and the chance of a show is unknown. With this simple guide, you too can predict if there will be an episode of State of the Game this week. | ||
