Maybe if they spend more time playing sc2 they might have better results. I mean, I just saw huk, demuslim and bunch of other pros walking around chatting. I have a good feeling puma is the only one there actually going full force at practicing OH MY FUCKING GOD THEY TALKED TO EACHOTHER IN THE TEAMHOUSE?! Even though none of them are really having any success or results in the game they can still talk balance, wtf are you talking about? Idra doesn't really do well atm, but he's a really smart guy and what he says about balance isn't complete utter bullshit as you want it to be. Same goes for QXC.

I love how people just missed the part where Avilo didn't listen to Idra at all and took out random unrelated parts of his argument and says that he "agrees with him." Idra was actually calmer and more reasonable than i expected until Avilo started to do that. I feel like the people in this thread weren't actually listening to illogical things that Avilo was saying.

And the apology at the end of the show doesn't really cut it. 2. IdrA's anti-MKP thing would be cute as a joke but I know realize he means it. I won't try to psychoanalyze Greg but maybe he can explain why MKP is so terrible when MKP's results are so so so much better. Here's a thought Greg, MKP is current IPL Fight Club champ. Challenge him, beat him, win some money, and show how great you really are. 3. IdrA's advice seems to be both to stop doing the same builds but also keep doing the same builds but just run the hellions past the queens. He also thinks Terrans can match economies with greedy zergs and they can do late game tech switches as quickly and easily as zergs. Maybe instead of iNcontroL vs. avilo we need a race-switch IdrA vs avilo match and see how 3 oribital's worth of MULEs keep up with 90 drones - Remember Terrans are also supposed to do a lot more scanning these days too. 4. TvZ in GSL this season? This is a few days old but just add about 2 or 3 to each side: GS race stats . It's still under 30%. But hey, just give it a few more months right? Just need some more time to figure it out.... I don't really thinking using U&D statistics for Season 3 is fair. Esp, since the patch came out like RIGHT before U&D. The 6-4 Ro32 statistic in favor of Terran is far more telling in.

His arrogance and self-entitelment is all build on something that was. Please disappear Idra. He was forced to "debate" with Avilo despite warning JP against it. He doesn't like Avilo, he doesn't respect him, nor does he value his opinions, so why should he try to put on a mask of emotions to cover that up? It was more Jp's fault for instigating it than anything, imo. IdrA's always been known for blowing up like this, and especially with his and Avilo's history together, it was a timebomb, essentially. Everyone acts surprised as if this was the last possible outcome to occur, but when the CHAT asks you for it, and when you KNOW Greg won't be happy with having someone on, really what other thing can you possibly expect? You had a good, rational discussion wuth Qxc and IdrA earlier on, but it shouldn't surprise anyone that this was the way that everything went down with Avilo, lol.

Yes lets please get rid of one of the most well-known figures in the SC2 scene just because of one discussion which polarized some people. Grow up.

MKP is still doing above average in comparison to other top korean terrans in an era where aggressive early game TvZ is being shut down left and right. I'd like to see idra do above average in one tournament before he calls out one of the greatest terran players/player to ever play the game.

Basically iNcontroL suggested they bring Avilo on for TvZ discussion after QXC vs IdrA finished. They bring him on eventually, and Avilo starts by asking iNcontroL about why he is so mean to him, but iNcontroL says to keep it focused on the balance discussion. At this point it is entirely between IdrA and Avilo. Avilo brings up some points, and IdrA responds to them. Then Avilo makes some comment about how LuckyFool made a point on something. IdrA responds with a condescending remark along the lines of "I guess I haven't been keeping up with LuckyFool's blog recently." Avilo then says something along the lines of "Some people who aren't as well known actually have good things to say in this community" obviously in a frustrated manner as he was clearly referring to himself (among others, I imagine). Then Avilo rants for awhile longer. IdrA goes to respond and Avilo says "HEY HEY HEY" over him. Geoff interjects and asks Avilo to let IdrA finish since IdrA was calm and quiet while Avilo spoke. The debate went on and Avilo tried to make it sound like IdrA was agreeing with him while he (Avilo) used some flawed logic and claimed to quote what IdrA was saying, when he wasn't. IdrA got angry and told him to STFU. JP hung up on the call with Avilo. Basically, it was pretty much what you would expect. I'm sure I forgot some details, but essentially Avilo came on to argue with IdrA, and IdrA lashed out as anyone would expect. Now everyone in this thread is treating it like the biggest fucking crime on the planet, and complaining about how terrible it was.

Which is fine. The people who did that in high school will think it's funny and sensitive nerds will be sensitive nerds. Probably one of the most abundant perceived dichotomies of the SC2 scene.

Apparently they'd have had to do some pretty deep digging to find that picture of him. The fact that they dug it up from the depths of the internet suggests that they were looking for dirt. It's actually kind of creepy, and certainly doesn't speak well for SOTG
