Wow. Gotta say, while Idra was short with him, Avilo makes it hard for me to want to be on his side in anything (I play zerg and enjoy the "threat of queens" to scare terrans who are too afraid to run around). I really really enjoyed the QXC/Idra debate, though, lots of interesting ideas.
The only thing this is going to do (this being the butthurt pitchfork-waving slobbering masses) is keep Idra from ever being on SotG again. I for one liked it when he or Huk were on the show, but doubt we'll see much in the way of guest pillars anymore. And to those writing to EG or their sponsors; grow up. There's no need to be offended on someone else's behalf. I can assure you, those higher up in EG was watching the show and if anything needs to happen (which it shouldn't) they will take care of it.

Avilo cut IdrA off, and everything devolved into a shitshow. Avilo could've been clearer with his argument, though it seemed like he was grasping for straws; asking "What builds would you suggest?" was basically the same as "Figure out the new metagame for me", which doesn't convince me when IdrA was arguing that the new metagame has yet to develop.
I agree with IdrA that letting it play out is the right response, but it's still a little bit of a cop-out in terms of debate.

I remember seeing incontrol defaming pewdiepie just on last dreamhack. Kind of bothered me a bit back then and it still does now
Its sort of "ok" to make fun and defame people you know/friends, but I think it crosses the line when you're doing it to a complete stranger (who is argubly more successful than incontrol)

so something I'm curious about (that I know will most likely get overlooked what with all the drama) but no one actually asked what qxcs opinion of TvZ was. At the very beginning JP told them to start debating and instead of qxc stating his opinion he just took the other side of the debate to make it... a debate. His initial response (which was something to the effect of "you just want me to go off of its imbalanced?") made me think he actually didnt think the matchup was imbalanced as much as not figured out yet
